hello mods! is it acceptable to app a characters whose AU is an older teenager, but the character is a mid-twenties adult in canon? (checked the FAQ and saw bits about aging a character a character up in their AU version, but not about aging them down.)

if that's possible, would the character wind up with accelerated aging due to regains, or would they progress at a normal rate?

AU OCCUPATION: High School student
BLURB:

• Extremely academic, may have skipped a grade at some point. AP classes. So she's likely a senior at 16, possibly taking some college courses in her spare time. She's. A nerd.
• Wants to be an architect. Probably fights with the school district about design choices?? She also likes foreign languages.
• Also on the school newspaper, some clubs. Possibly fencing club. Student council.
• Younger sister of Luke Castellan, meaning she hangs around Cabin Eleven a lot!
• Kind of stand-offish, has trouble making friends due to coming off as rather judgey and is picky about her friends. She holds people to high standards. That said, once you're her friend she will Protect.
• May have a pet tarantula, just because I'm mean, there's a 50/50 chance of this.

AU AGE: 19 years
AU OCCUPATION: University student (full-time), book shelver at the university library (part-time)
BLURB:
He is on the track & field team at the university.
Major is currently undecided. His parents are pushing him towards business school, despite his own interests, which skew more towards literature and history.
Only child to two working upper-middle class parents. They moved around between different cities in the Pacific Northwest throughout his childhood and finally permanently relocated to Recollé when he was in junior high school when his father received a transfer at work. His mother's work requires her to travel often and his father is a chronic workaholic.
His relationship with his parents was never very affectionate. His father's approval of him is strictly based upon merit, and while his mother was occasionally doting, it was more ephemeral than substantial. They are two highly driven and ambitious individuals who sought to instill similar values in him to mixed results.
Amiable and charismatic, with a sharp wit and sense of humor. Generally easy to get along with and makes friends easily, though getting to know him past the veneer of casual friendship is a bit tricky. He deflects topics he'd prefer to avoid.
Mostly because he tends to get a little unsure and awkward about those more sensitive topics, and he's trying to keep it cool.
Always sticks up for those who can't stick up for themselves, always roots for the underdog.
Absolute busybody. Growing up, he made sure his weeks were absolutely full with school, sports, clubs, and spending time around town with friends. While he doesn't juggle quite as much as he did in grade school, he still makes sure to avoid too much idle time.

17-year-old student at recollé high!
getting ready to do the graduation thing but hardcore slacking on his college apps. boy pls be responsible.
military brat - mother was enlisted for 8 years and stationed in okinawa. when she divorced, she returned to the us with micah. they moved around a bit and then ultimately settled in recollé. she's a single mom and he's an only child.
he was a shitty youth who dealt with being teased by fighting. he was suspended from school once for nearly breaking a classmate's nose.
mom enrolled him in martial arts as a kid as an outlet for his energy. he was strong but disliked the form and discipline necessary, so he quit.
then she got him a dog. he now has a big dumb loyal golden retriever named hush. hush deserves his own instagram.
micah has since mellowed out, but it's almost too much. he's bright but intensely bored with most everything.
plants are pretty cool though. so are animals. (he spends time volunteering at the animal shelter on the down-low.)
micah isn't an overtly bad influence, being so easygoing, but he tends to not want to operate on a schedule and just sort of does what he wants when he wants. or he just doesn't say no to wild situations that crop up because why not.
he only really gets aggro if his loved ones are threatened.

LOOKING FOR:

family is pretty locked down, but please friend him within an inch of his patience. he's very aloof and weird so he'd do well with aggressive friendshipping and outgoing types who will take advantage of the ability to sweep him into dumb hijinks with minimal fuss. he does well with dichotomies! morally pristine to his questionable everything, fancy to his average, soft to his edge, meek to his blunt. in that vein: classmates (even classmates he scrapped with as a kid), teachers, good influences, dog park patrons, animal shelter patrons, former martial arts class students. he might take up going to the gym or being more athletic once certain Changes start happening. he's obscenely loyal and throws down for loved ones. i'd love positive or negative ideas!

18-year-old Recollé University freshman, currently she's debating whether to focus her studies on history or poli-sci. Recently relocated to the city for school.
Very serious about her studies, thus far has a shining academic record and a strong work ethic. Tries to spend a lot of time seeking out extracurricular activities or volunteer opportunities in order to better herself.
Growing up the only child of a pair of affluential politicians in a neighboring state, she generally saw her every want met. Her relationship with her parents is a very warm and affectionate one. Wishing to emulate her parents provides a lot of her drive for success, and they do their best to make sure she has every tool available to her to achieve that success.
While somewhat doting, her parents were also stern when it came to her schoolwork. While this led to her graduating with top marks, it meant most of her time was spent studying rather than developing too many lasting friendships. Part of her reasoning behind leaving home for school was to give herself a fresh start in that respect, equating a new city with new opportunities.
Moving out to Recollé marks the first time she's really been on her own, so learning to be an independent adult is... a bit of work in progress for her. She loves to try new things, though doing so tends to very easily get her flustered and embarrassed.
Compassionate to a fault, if a little naive. Once she sets her heart on a goal, whether big or small, she won't stop until she achieves it.
She can be incredibly impulsive, going out of her way just about anytime she sees an opportunity to lend someone a hand or take on any sort of project, and as a result she can very easily get herself in over her head if there's no one there to keep an eye on her.

LOOKING FOR: Friends, classmates, good influences, bad influences, just about everything. A roommate could be pretty fun, if there are any other University students who might be interested in playing around with that!

AU OCCUPATION: Priest at the main local Catholic church
BLURB: mostly copypasta'd from the January thread l-lol
- Fresh-faced 20-something Roman Catholic priest straight out of seminary
- New junior parish priest at main Catholic church in town
- Approximately the chillest priest on God's green earth, to the point of it being actually infuriating
- Like maybe if you stripped naked and had a gay wiccan moon orgy right in front of him he would cough and politely avert his eyes, but short of that he is pretty unfazeable
- Never considered himself much of an evangelist so usually doesn't even try, is happy to have a nice philosophical conversation about metaphysics and the nature of divinity with you though
- Born and raised just east of Salem, Oregon, hung out on his grandfather's farm in the Cascade foothills a lot as a kid
- Said grandfather was a Vietnam vet who came back from the war with a wife, making Karl 1/4 Vietnamese
- Secretly-not-secretly a massive nerd, totally would have been an engineer if not for his vocation, used to build trebuchets with his buddies for fun
- Hung out in the LARP/battle gaming and ren faire scene in high school and college, may or may not have been to a couple of SCA-type events, may or may not have gone by the persona of Father Ignatius, Knight-Brother of the Order of the Shield of Saint Benedict
- Did in fact end up attending the Benedictine monastery at Mount Angel for seminary, had friends who were postulants but he ended up going the diocesan priest route instead
- Despite being technically a "millennial" never used to pay a lot of attention to social media or computers or all of that, it just never held his interest for some reason cough previous life on a post-tech apocalypse earth cough

LOOKING FOR: Parishioners and confessors always!! Plus anyone else who might be spending a lot of time in the Worship Quarter who he can have met at interfaith events or just while out running or something. He moved to Recolle this past November-ish so old friends and acquaintances are unlikely unless somebody's background includes spending time in western Oregon, although I am super open to the idea of him having relatives who live in town (cousins or such.) I do want to get him back into some of his old nerd hobbies for potential memory triggers, so if anyone wants to plan in-game meetups in that vein I am all for it! Also I wasn't kidding in the last TDM, I really do want to do a dopey little plotline where he finds a new caterer for the church's Sunday morning coffee & donuts mass reception brunch thing.

Sunday coffee & donuts is the only way to 6am mass what are you talking about Laughs okay so Aleksi (Char) here is Lutheran, but I think we can say he and Karl have seen eachother about/met at various charity drives/etc. He's nor super religious (being Finnish mafia) so he wouldn't object to fraternization with with a Roman Catholic. Also might be kinda fun cause one of the AU personality changes I have for him is that he can be swayed from being an horrible excuse of an human being jerk by "God wouldn't approve/what would Jesus do" arguments so laughs. He could kinda ask on the side vague hey what do you think God/Jesus would think of a man who did X questions sometimes if that's a thing that interests you!

Also idk may or may not bring trouble to Ignatius's doorstep gomen. Organized crime life...

CHARACTER: Lord Light
CANON: Original. He's from a flat world that was falling to pieces and he was the patron deity of one of the 3 remaining countries on it. Originally he didn't have a physical body but the people there built him one and he started advising them on how to plan their next move in their political situation. Eventually he helped construct a starship from one of their moons and sacrificed himself so they could fly off into the stars. Also, space dragons.

AU NAME: Lucian Levin Trevelyan
AU AGE: ~45, he looks younger than that though
AU OCCUPATION: Doctor, owns a private clinic but also has a post in the hospital

BLURB:

AU HISTORY
Born in Britain to traditional intellectual parents, Lucian inherited mild haemophilia from his mother and lived a sheltered life. His mother died in his childhood, leaving him to be raised by his father (an Earth Sciences professor), who imparted a lifelong curiosity for the world into him. He did fairly well in school and went on to read medicine at university, working in a city hospital as a doctor.

However, staying in one place didn't quite sit well with him - he wanted to see more of the world, and spent his prime years alternating between working to save up money and using his savings to volunteer in other countries. He joined Doctors Without Borders and split his earnings between funding his service trips and his father's geologist hobbies. These trips brought him all over the world, and he was able to broaden his experiences during that time. Later on in his life, they would give him a good source of stories to tell as well.

Eventually his gallivanting took its toll on his health, and he had to retire from active duty after his father's death. It was at this time that Recolle General Hospital offered him a post as a haematologist, and he accepted the offer five years ago. Due to his frail constitution, he runs his own small clinic and only returns to the hospital for specific shifts if they need his expertise.

AU PERSONALITY
A patient and kind man with an eye for detail, Lucian's main drive for life is his motivation to understand it - why the world came to be in its principles, and the eventual reason for humanity's existence. These are quite deep questions that have shaped his life and his quest for knowledge, and even after almost half a century he still hasn't been able to answer them. While this might paint him as the adventurous type, his years of traversing the world are already over. Instead, he prefers to read and observe what's immediately around him - learning about the experiences that a life of retirement would give him. He is Lord Light if he did not have three thousand years of memories and an incapability to feel emotion - an inquisitive mind without any duties or relationships to shackle him, free to wonder and theorize.

He has an almost extraordinary tolerance for oddities, and is willing to give people a listening ear for as long as they need it. Coupled with his careful nature, it makes him a patient family physician who will address patients' ills more than merely prescribing them medicines. He isn't a very social person, but he gives complete attention to the people who bother to keep in contact with him. Outside of his work, he can be found investigating the city he's moved into - you might find him traipsing down various alleyways and inspecting lampposts or houses, or walking around at night with a telescope trying to find a good place to see the stars. He also likes to feed birds, but he doesn't have a pet of his own.

Basically, he's kind of a weird old man, but he's also a nice old man.

LOOKING FOR:

Friends or regulars, especially kids. - Does your character have specific medical needs or prescriptions? He can fill them as well as check on them when they drop by. He keeps a small circle, but he's quite devoted to the few people who consistently visit him outside of just seeing him for consultations. He also has a soft spot for children, and he'll make himself available if they need help with anything (not just medically related things).

Fellow nature enthusiasts - Being raised in the sort of archaic English environment back in Britain, he's an avid naturalist. This extends to geology, ecology, botany, astronomy; the 'natural sciences', so to speak. If you need a partner to take on walks or surveys or just to see what a spore sucker is, he's your man.

Coworkers - Any other doctors here? He'd not be a frequent face at the hospital, but he might have a reputation as a specialist who's afflicted by something from his area of expertise. He's also frequently traveled, so he might know people who moved here from other places too.

Roderic Pyre ; Original Character

CHARACTER: Roderic Daniel Pyre.
CANON: Original. Specifically, he comes from a world with filled with typical superheroes antics you expect from the genre - Metahumans, league of superheroes, bad guys trying to take over the moon, and secret conspiracies from shadowy agencies! Roderic's origins are the last bit, being a secret government test subject. He's metahuman engineered to be a loyal wetwork agent for the government. Meaning lots of sadness and pains and tests. Fed up with after One Bad Day, he ran away to New York with a fellow agent/his last friend left. Soon became the unwilling but trying sidekick to his friend who wanted to be a superhero. Shenanigans and tears ensued.


AU NAME: Roderic Demetrio [Last Name TBD]
AU AGE: 10-years-old.
AU OCCUPATION: Student! Little inventor in the making.
BLURB:

AU HISTORY
An orphan who was first found at Viea Village's fire station as a baby, Roderic spent time in the Orphanage before being placed into a foster family at the age of five. The family - wealthy, successful, strong ties to influential people - seemed too good to be true and that was the case. They only wanted the very best and it didn't matter what it took to get there since they were obsessed with getting the best and brightest under them.

So they forced him to study and practice under harsh conditions and he faced harsher punishments for over three years. It eventually culminated in him passing out in the middle of a school day due to being faint from hunger and telling the teachers/doctors/policepeople about what was going on. Thankfully, his social worker pulled him out of there though he has no clue what happened to the foster family after that. It'll almost be two years since he was pulled out from there, about to turn ten this year and very excited about the new opportunities ahead of him.

AU PERSONALITY
First impressions of Roderic aren't that great: He's rather shy and nervous around strangers, a mixture of his normal demeanour and from what he experienced with the foster family in the past. Loud noises, from bangs to yelling, can easily make him break into tears and he seizes up when something stressful happens. But if you're willing to dig a bit and get to know him, Roderic is more than a fretful kiddo who'll hide behind a wall and peek around a corner.

His curiosity and his love for learning thankfully is still alive and well, allowing him to retain a love for knowledge and a desire to know the world around him. It pushes him to speak with people, learn from them, and allow his happy, cheerful self to shine and shine on when he makes a friend. He's loyal to a fault for those he loves, willing to defend them to keep them safe and sound, and he loathes bullies after coming to terms with what happened to him with the family. Roderic is still growing up but he's learned a lot in his short life and who knows what else he'll learn soon enough.

LOOKING FOR:

Family! I would love it if… Roderic could have an actual family to call his own in the game. If anyone is interested in taking him in, I promise you the little boy here will think your character is the greatest person in the world and adore them if they encourage/allow his love for learning/building stuff and experiments.

Friends! His age, older than him, and far much older than him - Roderic just wants to make buddies with people. He'll hug his friends, ask how they are, and even get them presents as signs of friendships! (Just… please… don't mind the possibility of his gifts exploding or catching on fire…)

Also... if anyone's interested... the person who listened to his story when he passed out at school and was asking him what was wrong?? He would be so grateful to the person and consider them one of his role models/idols/best friends and be very clingy yet sweet and hero worship them to the max. Could be a teacher, a law enforcement officer, a nurse/doctor - Just anyone in a position of authority over him who trusted his words and blew the whistle on what was going on.

People to ask questions!!! In his history that I'll be expanding on, he'll have a reputation of sneaking into college during the weekends to learn more during workshop and anything mechanics/invention making related. And he'll no doubt pester older students and other teachers to learn more about them and what they do and what they're studying and etc.

jack skellington | the nightmare before christmas

this is extremely tentative and i am poooossibly putting another character up here, AND IF I DO APP, it might be next app window but. let me dream, and be a goofus.

CHARACTER: Jack Skellington
CANON: The Nightmare Before Christmas


AU NAME: Jack Mourning
AU AGE: 35 to 40 years old, I'm not sure at the moment!
AU OCCUPATION: Confectioner
BLURB:

☠️ he moved to recolle around five years ago, alone. he launched a candy business shortly after - funeral confectioneries. they specialize in, you guessed it, spooky themed candy. from coffin shaped candy bars to gross gooey spider shaped chocolates, funeral confectioneries makes them all. they have holiday themed goods, too, but naturally, you'll probably see them busiest around halloween.
☠️ it's a fancy little shop where everything is handmade as opposed to mass produced, in chata. everything is high quality. he undersells himself a lot to ensure his candy is affordable, but he's looking to expand so that they can sell in stores! in the hopes it'll help business. stop him
☠️ he lives by himself in a particularly haunted looking two story building in the residential area. it's only like that because jack gets too into his work and forgets to take care of the exterior of his house. it's not actually haunted and jack will insist as much, let his overgrown weeds live in peace.
☠️ if you're wondering where jack got the money to launch a candy shop, looking up jack morning, his name without the u, will reveal he's a former broadway star! ...not really. he didn't make much of a splash, but he had a good flow of work. he worked in the late 80's as an alternative model, too. turns out the pale as death with hair black as raven's feathers look is in high demand in horror themed magazines - who knew.
☠️ he moved to recolle to do what he really wants to do; spread spooky joy and give back to the community.
☠️ jack works in a big brother and big sister program on the side, helping kids get matched up so that they can help each other. he hosts big halloween and christmas parties for the kids every year.

☠️ hell YES i said christmas, jack LOVES christmas. it's probably a surprise considering his, uh, everything, but jack gets just as pumped up about christmas as he does halloween. if you remember a tattooed santa claus entertaining the kids around town, that's jack. i'm sorry.
☠️ potentially gives voice lessons to anyone willing to venture into his house?
☠️ he drives a hearse. not because he works for the funeral home, just because he likes it.
☠️ jack will literally hire anyone. he's not particularly intelligent about his business methods? but he especially will hire kids for the summer. he's a little more difficult to convince during the school year, but enough begging and he'll give you something to do.
☠️ he has a science degree. i feel like mentioning this because recolle is full of science nerds.
☠️ jack's obscenely tall. he regularly walls into door frames. it's hilarious.

LOOKING FOR: I'm pretty open to anything at all, aside from family cr. I'd love for Jack to have people who work for him, possible voice lesson students, like-minded spooky people. He's been in town for a years and is a pretty eccentric guy, so I'm sure we can work out a way for him to know your character if you'd like.
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: I AM TORN BETWEEN THIS DUDE and Homura Akemi from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. On the other hand, I would probably break the family rule for a Sally the Ragdoll?? We can live like Jack and Sally if we want ??? ...that was bad and i am sorry.

I love this AU and if you do decide to app him, I'd love to offer some pre-game CR where they've known each other from his work with kids. Minako is really into the volunteering scene and would probably drop into the BBBS program from time to time, or help organize the Halloween and Christmas parties if it's a big neighborhood thing.

Regardless I'd throw Minako at him anyways because JACK FREAKING SKELLINGTON.

Also I hope you find a Sally! I've personally thought about making her a journal sometimes but...I couldn't possibly do her justice...

Currently an interior designer, but in the past, he has learned: carpentry (family business), various languages (mainly Hebrew, Arabic, English, but also some Spanish, Japanese, and a bit of French through his travels), martial arts (won't get into fights unless Absolutely Necessary, though), journalism (that he channels through some anime/drama reviews ー will get into detail about this), and some basic design stuff. He's good with digital design (well, computer and technology in general), but terrible in illustration and painting.
• Is single and not (yet?) interested in relationships. He hasn't really had any romantic attraction all his life, as he's always too busy with his bajillion interests and the whole moving around from country to country. He definitely has a certain degree of obsession in self-improvement and acquiring more and more certifications and skill sets in wide variety of subjects. (Or maybe more of burst of impulses rather than obsession.) But because he gets bored really easily, he's very rusty on the things he hasn't touched in the past few years.
  
• Despite the seemingly lack of interest in others, he actually really enjoys interaction with other people and values the friendships that bloom with it, he just never has the time and chance to actually pursue a deeper relation with someone else. Maybe he will, though, now that he's finding some comfort staying in Recollé! The epitome of a ball of sunshine, who's also very goofy and overly friendly. He can get along with anyone easily, especially with kids because his excitement tends to match theirs. His mood goes up and down vehemently, but he doesn't get angry much (or at all).
  
• His parents are very young-spirited and like him, constantly travel, too. Their schedules never seem to match up so he hasn't seen his parents in ten years. They would call or video chat each other once a week, though! But recently there's been a lot of disturbance whenever he tries to contact them, wonder why? Anyway. His relationship with them is generally pretty good! Although he's closer to his mother than his father, he'd discuss important things with the father first, as his mother is too free-willed (and this is coming from him, who's hopelessly haphazard himself).
  
• Crafts and/or building things/furniture? Leave it to him! But be careful, despite his nimble fingers, he's also very careless and clumsy. Might wanna keep your fragile items away from him.
  
• Isn't aware of it but actually might be (or in fact, is) into costume plays. The easiest way to get him to do things he doesn't wanna do, get him an outfit befitting to the task and he'll do it.
  
• Looks like Johnny Depp in pictures, not so much in person. He's pretty self-conscious about it and tries to pull his best American accent when he's trying to appeal to others with this quality of his. Despite this, he actually will start sputtering and stuff if flirted at or the like.
  
• Hates door-to-door sales. It makes him have a mini panic attack so he'll ignore them when they come (also why it takes time for him to open doors for you if you happen to visit him in his apartment). Also, every time he encounters a product in relation to apple (be it the real fruit, or Macintosh, etc), his speech will suddenly be disturbingly polite and poem-y, some form of self-defense to something traumatic that he can't recall.
  
• His current obsessions are MMORPG games, Western drama series (he has an avid collection of DVDs), Japanese anime shows (the last country he visited before coming to Recollé was Japan, and he's since fascinated by the quality of their animations) and TV series (because EXOTIC JAPAN!!), also stand-up comedy. He has a blog under a pseudonym (though it's pretty darned obvious it's him), in which he will update with his daily whatnots and reviews on the shows he watched.
  
• Though he's pretty well-off, he also has the habit of overspending, given his countless interests. As the interior design business has been pretty on-and-off lately, he might be looking for part-time jobs!

His family is well off and his father has some influence where he came from and had to use that to keep his eldest son out of jail.

As a condition to being bailed out of that mess, his father is making him shape up and actually finish college along with see a therapist about his pyromaniac tendencies.

I haven't decided on his major in college, but am leaning towards chemistry and he also works at times as an unpaid apprentice to a pyrotechnician in the area and actually hopes to turn that into paying work someday. He's not that great of a student unless in a class where he can actually do stuff rather than listen to lectures and especially if he can happen to set something on fire.

He also will be taking martial arts classes and probably involved in some criminal acts, though not as flamboyant as his past acts, probably stuff like hooking people up with fake ids and such. In his spare time he still messes around with fire and explosives as well.

LOOKING FOR: People who he may know from classes, fellow pyromaniacs or troublemakers, people to get into fights with, friends, rivals, maybe someone to actually know of his less than stellar past, someone who could be that therapist and deal with his failure to improve, people who would be annoyed by anything about him, etc. I'm really open to anything, this is just some ideas.

*She's still presenting as male when out in public. I'm not sure why, I may use something similar to her canon justification where a police officer talked down about her aspirations of becoming a detective, and seemed to blame her being a girl. If anyone finds out, she likely won't conceal that she's a girl, but she would prefer to not publicize it.
*She wants to be a detective still! There will likely be a similar motivation to canon (her family worked as detectives and she loves detective fiction) but I also kind of want to give her something more personal too? Kind of like Dojima's "car that killed my wife" case.
*She might actually be a little more zealous about it than before.

Naoto is intelligent and analytical but very much not good with people. A hard nut to crack!

And the mailman, and the dog halfway across his town, and, one time, even his own reflection (but in his defense, it was dark and he didn't realize there was a mirror there). Just, generally, if you can think of it, Bucky's tried to fight it at some point.
• After his freshman year, his dad finally put his foot down and staged an intervention with all his big scary army friends. Bucky is forced into playing on the school football team to serve as an outlet for his aggression. (He probably plays linebacker or smth, whatever's the most violent tbh)
• He also lowkey starts channeling his feelings through angsty poetry. Which, once he discovers Hot Topic and emo, becomes high key channeling his feelings through his own band.
• It's called A Lyrical Assassination. Please come to their open mic night.

AU NAME: Lucy Takada She's going to lose her shit when she remembers the significance of that last name, it'll be fun.
AU AGE: 18
AU OCCUPATION: High school dropout, probably works a bunch of temp jobs
BLURB:

• She was born to Japanese-American parents in San Francisco, but was surrendered at birth for ??? reasons I haven't decided. Her birth father probably ditched, her mom evaporated, and she has no idea who either of them are and at the moment doesn't care to find out.


• Either placed in a failing children's home where she snapped and beat her bullies' faces in or placed in a string of unsuitable foster homes. I'm undecided on whether to keep or cut out the orphanage but violence is a universal constant with Lucy. She's an angry child.


• Most likely got herself in trouble with the law a lot; truancy, trespassing, assaults, batteries, broken windows, shoplifting, jaywalking, general Bad Behavior etc. She's most likely been incarcerated at some point for minor offenses but obviously not to the degree she was in canon. Police characters or people involved with that sort of thing might have had her case file come across their desk, particularly if they were in the state of California a few years ago.


• The first and only thing her last foster family did for her was get her a train ticket to Recollé when she turned 18, and she hasn't looked back since. She's trying to petition to get her juvenile record expunged and has a distant idea of getting a GED and attending a trade school. Being shut out for the last time kind of scared her.


• Her hair and eyes are naturally brown, but she dyes her hair pink and wears ~edgy~ contacts to signify to herself that she's started a new life. Or trying to.
  
  And she obviously doesn't have horns, that'd be weird.

LOOKING FOR:

• People she could couch surf with or roommates! I haven't decided just how long she's been in Recollé (a year or less?)


• Friends are always good, either Bad Behavior ones or Good People ones. She could easily meet a bunch of people in passing as coworkers or what have you, she wanders a lot.


• Employers who are either willing to look the other way when her background checks turn up a significant rap sheet or work with her to improve. Or, yanno, encourage her to resume punching people she doesn't like, either/or. She has to afford that hair dye somehow.


• Potential mentors? This angry teenager could use some help.


• A long shot, but older characters who might have known her parents (or are her parents, plot twist) would be interesting down the line.


• Bonus critical weakness round: shy girls who like art things. She'll be substantially less belligerent around them, it's like magic.

Minako's roommates are currently NPCs xD That or maybe they were former coworkers, Minako works at a cupcake bakery with a ridiculous work uniform, so I can imagine Lucy wouldn't have stayed that long. Just long enough for Minako to worm some social media info out of her, perhaps haha

- if you ever met her at an old fancy gala, she was probably a sweet and elegant young thing, though admittedly she would never stick around for actual friendships to be made
- politics is a dangerous game and so she doesn't really believe in trusting people from high-class families, which was most of her social circle
- which makes her pretty fucking lonely
- and she doesn't know how to be a teenager, she'd eat quesadilla with a fork and knife
- but she absolutely follows Rich Kids of Instagram and laughs bc she thinks they're trashy
