And I've never seen a Rygdea! I'd be glad to have another smartass snarker to bounce off of.

is what I'm toying with right now. She's going to have a happy family (what) and be much less a ball of rage, but still very passionate with a love of fighting. And then it's going to come crashing down all the harder when she remembers how things really went, haha.

Though, she probably has gotten in a few fights and does so every now and then. And may have been involved in an accidental destruction of property stunt for some stupid thing you'd probably see on a show like Ridiculousness.

I'll admit, Rygdea is a niche character to pick up. I did so years ago in Luceti and I had the best old time back then. I have a fondness for minor characters, especially FF minor/supporting characters.

I could see Fang either as a professional "Fire Dancer" performer or maybe a "Daredevil" or "Stuntswoman" similar to actors like Jackie Chan or Jet Li. Fang is gorgeous enough to be an action star but imagine if she does her own gravity defying stunts since she's a dragoon originally.

Of course Fang don't remember she's a dragoon but definitely could uae her talent to a modern at action star.

Maybe fire dancer is something she picks up as a hobby later; it does seem like something she'd find fun. I wanted to do something that was highly physical and had a degree of danger to it. She does have a good heart and will to help people, she just... prioritizes and lets herself become way too caught up in everything in the games. She'll be a little mellower in Recolle until everything starts coming back.

So, how about these two? Pre-established CR, or do you want to let it grow on its own?

I'm all up for preestablished CR! Rygdea is twenty-four, so he's not that much older than Fang.

How would they meet? Childhood friends, perhaps? Troublemakers who united for the sake of raising some hell? High school sweethearts? High school buddies?

I can never say no to young troublemakers raising hell, and I like the contrast of them growing up (in multiple senses of the word) and joining emergency responders. I'd also be down with them dating for a year or so before parting on friendly terms.

These two started off as childhood troublemakers in their youth, became high school sweethearts who decided their friendship was worth more than their relationship?

Hell, Fynn would lookout for Fang still if she's Fire Department. If she was having trouble with guys on her unit, all she had to do is give Fynn here is call and he'll rough the fucker up some.

No one messes with Fang. No one.

Shit, that's assuming the guy survives her. If anything, she'd need more help with "Okay, so what fight/brawl were you involved with this month" haha

LMAO! That's true. No man could possibly survive that storm and if they did, Fynn would kick 'em in the teeth and bolt.

Gotta make sure jerks like that stay down, am I right?

You know, these two would definitely be weekend bar brawlers! Oh man, that's going to be HILARIOUS!

I'm sure they used to be a public disturbance more often and are toning it down now because of their careers, but no doubt they just "happen" to be around when a brawl breaks out every now and then.

In regards to public disturbance, want to do quick TDM Twitter chat thingy? If so, I got one going now.

Fynn might need Freya's help with his bro. Ardyn is his brother in this wacky AU.

I'll take a look at it o7 I haven't had time to do much more than post my toplevel, and was planning to get to the TDM today.

Do you want to have their electronic conversation branch off, and call Freya in on an action thread if she's needed?

Yes and yes! We could do the "action" part in her toplevel stuff after the hilarious Twitter convo about Ardyn.
