Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. AU NAME: Allura de la Cruz
AU AGE: 17
AU OCCUPATION: High school drama queen
BLURB:

- Shallow, vain, and selfish. Allura is the type to openly revel in gossip, and likes to consider herself ~in the know~. She is a spoiled only child from the de la Cruz family, recent money and all about showing it off.
- She is vindictive because she knows she's always right, and pretty enough to get away with it in most circles. Allura is a trend setter at her private high school, and doesn't always realize the consequences of her actions
-However, she has a soft spot for animals and considers herself a major animal rights advocate. She is vegan (you know the kind), and spends her time trying to highlight something she sees as a big issue in the city (look, the city council just Doesn't Care about animal rights).
- She's started reading for a senior research project about Youth in Asia, and maybe, just maybe, she'll learn something from it. But who knows! She's been known to, um. Let her prejudices get the best of her.
LOOKING FOR: DOES ANYONE WANT A GIRLFRIEND TO BREAK UP WITH THEM IN A SPECTACULAR FASHION ON THE NETWORK. I'M ALL EARS.

Otherwise, I'd love some frenemies, outright enemies, people who work on Animal Rights activism with her, or people who have just heard of her.

I would love it if anyone wants to do some sort of rivalry or something, especially if that character is the type she would canonically align herself with! Because I want a sloooooow realization with her, especially as her canon memories come out!

selfish, vindictive, always right? I WOULD LOVE CR WITH ALLURA. Because Malik is the same. I'm not sure how to swing it b/c he doesn't have connections to the upper class but I am all down for them knocking heads??

HMMMM yeah pre-existing CR might be hard! What background are you thinking for Malik?

the more i think on it, i have to agree that pre-existing cr would be hard to establish. malik is a punkass kid + petty criminal so, nnnno real reasons to cross paths. that being said, i would still like to pursue cr with allura! i like the angle you're taking with her.

I WOULD LOVE TO BE DOWN WITH MAKING FRIENDS SHE WOULDN'T NORMALLY MAKE. Let's make it work-- especially since she's going to be dramatic as hell when she intros.

So Celeste is a big-name celebrity who would absolutely support the cause of animal rights... and absolutely not support Allura's attitude and behavior...

ngl I'm kind of tempted to say Manaka attends the same school as Allura, since her family is pretty well-off in canon. They could be... Maybe not friends exactly, but Manaka is too dead inside to care about Allura's personality flaws and also she's one of those YouTube people, so Allura could try to use their connection to get Manaka to promote her pet causes for free? Manaka is also very ~fashionable, so there's that too.

I approve. That could be nice to have snarky CR, but not as outright antagonistic! Especially since she will be a handful.

hahaha yeah his reaction to people like her is just "ok then" and rolling with it but he's not antagonistic by nature...so it definitely wouldn't be outright
