Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc.
BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.
LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like.

YEAH MAN BORDERLANDS IS pretty weird about bouncing between stupid funny stuff and tragic, horrifying stuff w/out warning! One minute you're listening to a racist hot dog, the next you're listening to someone talk about having to beat their rabid dog to death with a shovel, then you're slamming flaming basketballs into hoops, it's. it's just weird.

And look, Jesus would totally get added to the crew if only because Jack has a soft spot for enthusiastic fun people, so it's basically guaranteed that he'd text Jesus at 1am at some point going "hey let's go get subway and fly drones around the roof of my apartment building" or some totally dumb shit like that.

Holy crap that is so intense, what the hey!!! Racist hot dog though I'm ?????? It... it sounds like quite a ride. WIPES SWEATS

Jesus has a terrible insomnia so he will totally run to Jack in a heartbeat! He'll definitely cause something bad to one of (or more) Jack's drones at one point though, like flying it too far it's gone forever.....

Here you go, the stupidest part of any video game you will ever play, ever. Borderlands is a trip.

And you have to make sacrifices in the name of dumb but fun decisions, ok, he's totally ok with that. Even if it means hurling an inordinately expensive piece of machinery thirty feet to the sidewalk.

Holy shit I need to play this game now wtf omg what is this mess???? Not to mention the voice actors did such a terribly good performances L M F A O dying I love how the dude's voice was warped till the end :') This is golden, thank you for showing me, I have been blessed. Hallelujah.

Sorry Jack, he has no ill will... Jesus will compensate with free services if Jack ever needs anything though wink wonk. ;)

IT'S EVEN FUNNIER WITH CONTEXT and I would def recommend it! You'll at least have to play/watch Borderlands 2 to really understand what's going on, but Tales from the Borderlands is hilarious, it's great.

And if that's true, Jesus can expect 3am texts that just say "bring me mountain dew" because he's too lazy to get it himself. Look at your friendship choices, Jesus.

Oh man it looks really interesting, does the first Borderlands and the second one have connecting plotline? Like if say I play/watch Borderlands 2, will it be confusing without playing/watching the first one? ...Look at you already kicking me into a pit before we even start anything.

Lmfao gawrsh, the best part is Jesus would gladly do that for Jack, he's like a golden retrieverー uh, pun not intended. But yeah, it's ok, Jack will have to put up with Jesus's nonsense too so it's a fair trade between them!!

Sorta! You can play BL2 without playing the first game and not miss too much - there are nods back to the first game you won't get, but it sums up the events of the first game's plot pretty completely. I still def recommend playing the first one at some point though because it's hilarious and there's a DLC that involves a zombie island and werewolves wearing nice hats.
