AU NAME: Morgan Isaacs
AU AGE: 19 years
AU OCCUPATION: University student (full-time), book shelver at the university library (part-time)
BLURB:
He is on the track & field team at the university.
Major is currently undecided. His parents are pushing him towards business school, despite his own interests, which skew more towards literature and history.
Only child to two working upper-middle class parents. They moved around between different cities in the Pacific Northwest throughout his childhood and finally permanently relocated to Recollé when he was in junior high school when his father received a transfer at work. His mother's work requires her to travel often and his father is a chronic workaholic.
His relationship with his parents was never very affectionate. His father's approval of him is strictly based upon merit, and while his mother was occasionally doting, it was more ephemeral than substantial. They are two highly driven and ambitious individuals who sought to instill similar values in him to mixed results.
Amiable and charismatic, with a sharp wit and sense of humor. Generally easy to get along with and makes friends easily, though getting to know him past the veneer of casual friendship is a bit tricky. He deflects topics he'd prefer to avoid.
Mostly because he tends to get a little unsure and awkward about those more sensitive topics, and he's trying to keep it cool.
Always sticks up for those who can't stick up for themselves, always roots for the underdog.
Absolute busybody. Growing up, he made sure his weeks were absolutely full with school, sports, clubs, and spending time around town with friends. While he doesn't juggle quite as much as he did in grade school, he still makes sure to avoid too much idle time.

Any idle time he manages to accrue, he spends reading. He really likes poetry, but he reads pretty much anything!
Do not challenge him to any strategy game of any kind, in person or online. You've been warned.
LOOKING FOR: Keeping his family locked down, but virtually anything else! Past classmates from grade school, current classmates in college, people he might've competed with or against, acquaintances he met online, people he might've encountered at the library... I am extremely open to all of the possibilities!

Setsuna's an uni student himself, so they'd likely see each other a lot at school! And he's still sporty/fit, so he can run with him time to time even if he's not really part of the club. Also he shares similar interest with reading, though he prefers realistic stuff like history. Poems and literature are okay to him too though!

oh, wow, it definitely seems like they would have a myriad of ways to run into one another! they can be classmates if you want (morgan's just in a bunch of required courses rn), orrr they could run into one another while running at the fitness center, orrrrr they could run into one another at the library maybe bc morgan not only spends time there but also... works there part-time!

OR it could be all of the above and just boils down to a "hey i see you around a lot, u wanna hang out" thing, bc i actually had that happen to me in college, lol

It sounds like Morgan and Dante would probably know each other to me! Dante here's also 19 at university, and also undecided (though he's leaning toward the business school of his own accord; his parents both work in the arts ahaha). So I'd imagine they'd probably at least know of each other through maybe intro business courses or gen ed classes?

Unfortunately Dante's kind of an ass :| he's grown up a spoiled arrogant rich kid and he doesn't really care enough about people to form anything more than superficial friendships. He's that aloof kid in class that only talks to either answer the prof's questions or to make cutting remarks at someone else's expense...

oh my gosh... they kind of seem like opposites in several ways and i think that would be super fun to play around with!

morgan's the kind of guy who would challenge dante (in his own kind of... shitty way... more w/ dry wit rather than lawful good throwdown) and stick up for that person at expense. so it might be fun to kind of have them in a sort of adversarial scenario like that in a class somewhere and then just... see where that goes, positive or negative

(morgan probably wouldn't have any kind of true resentment, he'd more be interested to see what the heck this dude's deal is)

I'd be 100% up for this! I would love to see the two of them getting into a snark battle. Dante definitely gets his kicks from needling people so it would be fun to shove them together and see what happens, for better or for worse! I honestly couldn't predict it, it would just depend on what happens.

Luckily for her, Maya hasn't hit college age JUST yet but is rapidly approaching it and thus rapidly getting non-too-subtle hints about making up her damned mind. She could definitely relate.

And I mean, someone with a similar perspective couldn't necessarily hurt! (Well, okay. I realize I'm saying this about a Mana Aida and an Orga and that draws into question so many things about making decisions on both their accounts, but STILL.)
