AU WORKSHOP - FEBRUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. So lemme get this straight!

Naoto's grandfather is possibly a Keishi/Superintendent from Japan who immigrated here to Recollé with his granddaughter Naoto.

Naoto's parents died in a car accident (allegedly) in Japan?

Since her parents' death, Naoto been brought up to admire law enforcement thanks to her grandfather and hopes to make detective?

Is that what you're aiming for?

Almost! Her grandfather immigrated here decades ago, either before or just after the birth of his son, who was raised here. (The Keishi/superintendent thing is right though). His son and daughter-in-law were both detectives, but died in a car accident (OR WAS IT) and their infant daughter was raised by grandpa.
