Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.

they can be good friends and naturalist friends too ouo)b as well as fussing over kids. And for Roderic, he could hang around in Lucian's office if he wants [nod emoji] he's not fussy as long as the kid is well-behaved

YES PLEASE. Lucian let Ainsley drag you around the woods to map the stars and look for new plants/herbs to collect and examine together. She would be so interested in the other fields of a naturalist, especially botany and geology! Let her learn things.

And oh my gosh yes please with Lucian and Roderic. Roderic would be really well-behaved and even try to help him around the office by getting him stuff or trying to tidy things up after asking if he can help. He'll be the best little secretary ever…

Maybe there can be situations where she has to help him on their field trips since he has mild haemophilia and has to take a lot of care not to get injured or he'll lose blood quickly, then she can help get him back to his house (this is the reason he doesn't go out much and has safety stuff in his office), he also has lots of traveling stories that he can tell her so that's CR for years

SMOL RODERIC IS SO ADORABLE yeah in his free time Lucian will give him books and teach him naturalist stuff... he's always welcome as long as Lucian is in

I love that angle so much!! Ainsley would do her best to help him out when they're out but not be too much of a worry wart since she trusts his judgement. But she will try to actually try to learn first aid and safety precautions for him! (I mean through reading. Practical application may be 50/50 but there will be lots of gumption on her part for him, dammit.) And them hanging out and swapping stories is so cute please.

And aaaaaAAAAH he will be so awed when getting the books and being taught. Just looking up at Lucian like he's the Best One Ever and try to do his best to keep the books in tact and recall the lessons perfectly to impress him. (Imagine him bursting into the office saying he remembered all the names of the plants and minerals from last time. And the way he remembers it is because he sings it in a tune.) The expression on this icon is his expression with him 99.99% of the time, for real.

And man, we have so many good ideas I think we're set to go for threading and see how things develop from there. ouo)b

~~also I kinda ship ain and lucian but that would probably be a bad idea bc when they regain their memories.. oops~~
