Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.

micah's probably going to have grown out of scrapping by middle school, but maybe they could have met when they were younger and just got in a big ol' fight, then later bond over being military brats once the dust has settled?

omg hahaha that sounds GREAT but Bucky's a relatively recent transplant to Recolle--the way I've got his AU set up right now is that he just moved there at the start of his freshman year and that's rooouuuughly when he got in a big enough fight to get forced into playing sports. I could finagle it though so that he's been there since like 6th or 7th grade though, which would be peak fight time for him, if Micah would still be down for a good sock in the jaw around then.

Either way though, I'm always down for some military brat bonding!

oh man don't feel the need to scoot around your au if he's a recent transplant! while 6th grade would be a perfect time for me, i'm sure we could slap together a reason for a killer punch to the nose at a later high school date too!

but yes i want bonding over being strong and fighty either way! maybe one is just kind of nursing their nose/jaw like... man that was a good one...

and voila, growing up military brat talking ensues.

yeah I'd prefer to keep Bucky as someone who shows up in his freshman year, but he does still start out picking a lot of fights even then. I can imagine maybe Micah says something that he takes offense to (shouldn't be hard, maybe a comment about some fat lip or giant bruise he's gotten from another fight earlier that week) that rapidly escalates to him throwing a good punch. On like. the first day of school or something equally dramatic HAHA

and then they can start bonding over bloody knuckles and broken noses.

i'm so super down for it being the first day of school, you have no idea. NOTHING LIKE A VIOLENT HELLO RIGHT TO THE FACE. that they can continue later in the nurses or principal's office with tissue stuck on their person, wearing expressions like

well, gestures to icon with less eyeball trauma

like something straight out of a high school drama, FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL: GET YOUR SHIT WRECKED

he can offer you some tissues to jam up into your bleeding nostrils. (i don't have any icons for this sort of thing yet but rest assured there is an abundance of material for it.)

THIS IS EXACTLY THE THING I CRAVE, IDIOT HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA IN THE FLESH. plus the image of them sitting there all... we're getting along now, can we go.

AHAHA school principal walks out to give them a stern talking to and prepares to call their parents

and these two kids have already gone from giving each other black eyes to fistbumping
