but also i'm still not entirely sure if i'm going with this for zero BUT it's possible she was a coworker of judith's as a bartender!! if judith was taking jobs at the seediest and shadiest bar imaginable at least. also if zero ever asks judith about all her bandages it's out of pure curiosity and her reply will probably be HMM SOUNDS FUN MAYBE I'LL TRY THAT OUT SOMETIME

Well, his parents are well off. He's not. Why do you think he's working as a part time DJ to pay for his apartment. Otabek's the type to work for his own success, so really no one should even guess he's well to do unless they know his parents and connect the dots. He dresses regularly and aside from the fact that he's coming from out of the country to study here even that can be talked out as having received a scholarship (doesn't pay for everything but still he managed to get a scholarship through his own merit). So, yeah. They should get along. I mean, Otabek doesn't usually not get along with people. He just doesn't befriend them. He can be polite but that's different from being friends. Currently, he's got no friends and just goes about his days perfectly content. And yeah, I can already guess that they'll have some interesting CR. Otabek can taint him by bringing him to one of the clubs he's DJ'ing at.

ok here i am for real. YEAH THOUGH idk why it's so hard to au a middle school student into another middle school student but it's SO HARD to come up with good ideas for Utena characters...even if I'd really like to.

I would like that a lot, honestly! Like, Tifa is super bubbly and all but she also seems to be like genuinely interested in being a good person so they could probably find some common ground there even if they didn't always get along. Plus, if they've know each other for a long time, she would have had the chance to see Jas-One in her bubblier days, too.

* towards his later teenage years they travelled mostly around europe, finally settling in saint-germain-des-pres near paris when his mother became sick

* his mother passed away before he graduated; his father was on the brink of alzheimer
* married his high school sweetheart shortly after graduating high school

* when his father passed away a few years later, he moved to recolle with his wife
* she, a biologist; he, a cop--they opened a flower shop on a whim (she wanted it, and he couldn't refuse her)

Oh yeah, that sounds good to me! Perhaps they recognized each other from school when they had their chance encounter at the hospital and things just went from there? They probably wouldn't have too many opportunities to hang out but maybe manage a walk-and-talk here and there.

Jude's parents would probably encourage him to make friends with kids of other hospital staff to micromanage his connections.

not sure if you're canon familiar, but rin was a human girl sesshoumaru protected in the course of the series and taught him how to be compassionate! basically a dad figure.
