Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! AU OCCUPATION: business owner/ex-cop (?)
BLURB:
* was raised in orphanages
* was adopted by a lovely, older english couple that travelled a lot around east/south asia (due to his father's job), so he's not set on a cultural identity despite his obvious heritage
* easily forgot japanese and instead picked up english and that's his first language as far as he's concerned
* speaks some french because of his mother's home schooling
* towards his later teenage years they travelled mostly around europe, finally settling in saint-germain-des-pres near paris when his mother became sick
* surprising everyone, had a high school sweetheart; some french beauty everyone thought was too sweet for yuu's shitty personality
* his mother passed away before he graduated; his father was on the brink of alzheimer
* married his high school sweetheart shortly after graduating high school
* moved to england for his father's sake, bringing along his wife
* studied to become a cop
* when his father passed away a few years later, he moved to recolle with his wife
* she, a biologist; he, a cop--they opened a flower shop on a whim (she wanted it, and he couldn't refuse her)
* HEY HOW ABOUT MORE DEATHS? she became terminally ill and died ~a year ago
* yuu is an old man in a 23 year old's body
* quit the force to run the flowershop 24/7

* he hates everyone, never ask him about his wedding band, just buy his flowers

LOOKING FOR: cops that might have known him? LMFAO GOOD LUCK BEING HIS FRIEND... business people... anyone who would have been looking for a job and he closed the door on their noses... ?? anyone who would have known his wife. that's the closest he would be to Friendship

flower crowns are popular with the ladies!!! (or at least with girls!) you clearly should have some because at this rate no one would want to shop at such a rude flower shop

that being said, despite kanda being a shithead, he's likely to turn a blind eye to alice either helping out (if he proves to be useful, tch) or staying in if he does need a place to stay... there's a guest room

Not a cop, but Tatsuo has worked in Recolle's crime lab for the past seven years. SO he could conceivably have run into Yuu at some time.

Lemme see if I have the timeline right. Yuu and his wife moved to Recolle about two years ago, and then his wife died about a year ago?
