Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. AU NAME: judy hopps no i'm kidding it's still Judith
AU AGE: 19
AU OCCUPATION: Stunt actor, Environmental Science student on the side, freshman.
BLURB:

Judith spent the bulk of her childhood being raised by her single father, after moving to Recolle for business from their small, mountainside village. He was a tad bit of a workaholic, for various reasons, so Judith didn't see him much. She did however become lovingly acquainted with some of his Weirdass Inventions.

Her only company through a lot of lonely nights was her family dog, Dog Version 1 (jokingly named by her father), but who she instead named Mercury. Needless to say, she has a Very Big Love for animals.

Standard high school experience. She didn't have any notable friendships, but she was friendly with most people and was pretty active in the athletic scene.

Her father became pretty sick around the time Judith hit 16, which left her in a pretty hard place. She had always been pretty independent, but given that there was no one else to care for him, that duty fell to her and Dog Version 1. After high school she chose not to pursue university just yet, opting instead to continue her streak of odd jobs in order to support her family, which ultimately led to them downsizing into a smaller apartment. This lasted until halfway to Judith reaching 18, which is when her father passed away. She took it pretty hard - she still does.

She's done A Lot of Shit. From retail to bartending to modelling, which she actually stayed with a bit even though it kind of... jaded her? And didn't really speak to her. Through all of this she stayed into sports as a kind of stress relief when she could find the time, which ultimately got her pursuing stunts. It's her break from an otherwise monotonous life.

Of course that didn't jive well with her modelling, since she'd show up less than 100% to shoots sometimes, so she pursued that full-time.

The pay was okay, enough to survive on. Being at some point in stability she decided to go back to school... just because she figured that's what her dad would want. Her actual attendance is iffy sometimes due to work and her inability to stand still, but she's a surprisingly good student and tries her best to keep up.

Also she's an adrenaline junkie. A giganto adrenaline junkie. And has absolutely 0 shits to give about what other people think of her, she probably gets her studying done up in trees when all the study spaces are taken because??? why not.

Modelling World (TM) shenanigans works for me, sorry about anyone she may have offended showing up to these things with battle scars once in a while. let her give you some weirdass workout tips that sound vaguely life-threatening cashew

i'm glad that our trend of weirdos and weirdo cr will continue even into autown tbh...

also battle scars are gr8 aesthetic and he'll fight anyone who gave her grief?? and then fight her for being SO DANG RECKLESS

i have Takumi in game and he's obviously the overbearing mom-type, so he can definitely hound her down about her injuries once in a while

i'm all up for overbearing mom takumi, judith will find that adorable, funny and endearing all at once. hope you didn't want someone who makes sense takumi :))

we were both young when i first met you

man, i'm imagining him trying to understand at first (like does she come from an abusive household is that why she barely shows and when she does she's beaten up). he doesn't meddle too much, but he might give it a try.

then instantly regret it.

but also i'm still not entirely sure if i'm going with this for zero BUT it's possible she was a coworker of judith's as a bartender!! if judith was taking jobs at the seediest and shadiest bar imaginable at least. also if zero ever asks judith about all her bandages it's out of pure curiosity and her reply will probably be HMM SOUNDS FUN MAYBE I'LL TRY THAT OUT SOMETIME

so she will sadly not be someone to convince judith to stop being reckless...........

but okay, that absolutely works since yes, judith is absolutely the type to work at seedy bars just because it's more interesting. or at least she thinks it's more interesting. and honestly zero not convincing her against violence is a win for her, not a loss

next time people start fights with her zero can be her tag in partner, just take on a couple dudes then high five zero in

it's probably more interesting for real since zero can't go a shift without getting into a fight with an annoying customer, so. win-win?!

i pity the poor fools who think to try and take on either of them...... so basically THIS SOUNDS AWFUL AND TERRIFIC

If she did stunts in the last few years, maybe she could have done some work on the ridiculous show that Kurt here used to co-star in, Heckbusters? And/or they could meet up on campus!

First sounds good! She takes up basically anything as long as it catches her attention, so!! Them running into each other during the show is perfect. Afterwards she'd probably flag him down now and again when she sees him on campus.

Kojuro works at a gardening center but also at some previous bars, maybe they crossed paths at some point? Judith just sounds so fun and hard to miss for anyone.

That works! Alternatively maybe she's dropped by a bar he worked out quite frequently... and then she just randomly drops by the gardening center because she actually likes plants a lot and trusts his opinion.

give her some cool gardening tips for apartment living

Giving gardening tips and seeing her around because of it sounds really sweet actually! I'll take it.

stunt actor?!?! zoro's a stunt actor too + adrenaline junkie so maybe they were coworkers at some point?? maybe they did some X-TREME red bull event together or something once??

also i don't see anything wrong with her being named judy hopps

oh my god i hope they did some XTREME!!! events with each other too yes. i need this. like, an extreme bromance founded in a love for things that'll make any regular normal person scared

she can be his one pro stunt friend in the city they can do red bull events together maybe they're even working on a collab stunt?? do those exist?? now they do
