HMD - JULY Welcome to Recollé's quarterly HMD! Due to feedback from the playerbase, we have opted to switch from bi-monthly HMDs to an HMD once every three months. Players are encouraged to post to the HMD, though it is not required; there is a comment for mod and game feedback, as well. While anon is not enabled, socks may be used. However, any harassment is subject to being frozen or deleted, and if that should become an issue we will move the HMD meme to a members-only community such as our OOC community. I just want to stop by and say thank you for keeping this game running, and especially to thank you for this amazing event opportunity! I don't believe I've seen or heard of another AU game giving this kind of chance to its players. For me, it's really revitalized my interest in the game, and given me a chance to play my character in a new way that wouldn't have been possible without a full drop/wipe in the first place. Thank you!!

Just got Yang here! (with the alt account burndownforwhat running for this event)

I've gotten some feedback about this in the past, so I'm happy to have the opportunity with the new AU to tweak how approachable she was and some of the difficulties in her reaching out to others, trusting them, and hopefully being easier to thread with in general. I know I'm having a lot more fun with her so far just this month and I hope others will, too, going forward!

hey hey buddy! I just wanted to pop in real quick and give you some positive feedback re: Yang's AU! It's given me a really fun character dynamic to play with Alison, which I appreciate for sure and I'm interested in exploring more, and I find her, idk, buoyancy? really refreshing and fun to play off of so far. I am not totally up to date w/RWBY but I also like what you've done as far as connecting bits of her canon to this AU; it's really neat!

Oh whoops I wanted to ask a question to: do you have plans or ideas on what you want to get out of this change in her AU, whether or not it's temporary? This isn't necessarily feedback so much as an interest in knowing.

i also have an anonymous/screened hmd post in his journal if you'd rather use that :) mostly, my biggest challenge is making akutagawa, like, respond to-able? he's SUPER standoffish in canon so i try to do all i can, even if it means fudging a thing or two with his character (heh) to make it so others can respond to him. if it's working/not working, please let me know. other than that, i've had a lot of fun playing with you all so far! let's keep it up!

personally, i haven't found akutagawa difficult to respond to at all! i can tell you're trying to offer different/new hooks for the other person to respond to in tags, and you're not afraid of letting aku be a little silly which i feel does help make your tags engaging, on top of your aku just being super fun to rp with!! so KEEP ON KEEPIN ON!! i think you're doing great!!!♥♥♥
