HMD - JULY Welcome to Recollé's quarterly HMD! Due to feedback from the playerbase, we have opted to switch from bi-monthly HMDs to an HMD once every three months. Players are encouraged to post to the HMD, though it is not required; there is a comment for mod and game feedback, as well. While anon is not enabled, socks may be used. However, any harassment is subject to being frozen or deleted, and if that should become an issue we will move the HMD meme to a members-only community such as our OOC community. hey hey buddy! I just wanted to pop in real quick and give you some positive feedback re: Yang's AU! It's given me a really fun character dynamic to play with Alison, which I appreciate for sure and I'm interested in exploring more, and I find her, idk, buoyancy? really refreshing and fun to play off of so far. I am not totally up to date w/RWBY but I also like what you've done as far as connecting bits of her canon to this AU; it's really neat!

Oh whoops I wanted to ask a question to: do you have plans or ideas on what you want to get out of this change in her AU, whether or not it's temporary? This isn't necessarily feedback so much as an interest in knowing.

Good! I'm glad that, overall, this AU seems to allow Yang to gel a lot easier with others (as well as, you know, hold basic conversations haha). Aloy especially since, before, they didn't really have much of a reason at all to overlap so. It was less bouncing off one another and more like deflection. If that makes sense?

I'm still undecided on how far I'll tweak things between the two stories. I think my initial AU with Yin was maybe too specific. Like it didn't leave her very flexible to different personalities, interactions, and so on. I will DEFINITELY aim to polish up those rough edges to keep her more personable in general and a greater reflection of her canon self as she's come into more and more of her memories, especially. It won't be like 50/50 of both AUs, but more like 75% of what Jen is like and a sprinkle of Yin's history in there. (Sadly, I think the tattoos will have to go, just because I want to be able to use better icon material, sob)
