AU WORKSHOP - SEPTEMBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! i'm not sure who i'll end up apping/tdming but i've got sun jing and ishikawa here as high school students! both would be seniors, so they might have crossed paths with dirk here and there? sun jing herself can be kind of a miscreant and definitely gets into her fair share of antics (if not outright instigating, then definitely fanning the flames); ishikawa just tends to be the sort to get drawn into antics despite his best efforts.

i think he and sun jing would probably end up running in the same circles (wlw/mlm solidarityyyy)?? and he'd be that guy she could suggest to do literally any stupid stunt and he'd go for it with 100% dedication. either pull it off stylishly, or completely fuck it up and pretend he's cool with it, there's no in between.

and ishikawa... oh that poor, poor kid. dirk'd be great at convincing him to go along with bad, bad ideas with the slightest reason. and then they both end up in detention, and hmm, yeah, maybe that wasn't the best plan. (but can also be sporty with him! lots of games of catch and soccer and climbing things that probably shouldn't be climbed.)

yeah ishikawa's the best friend role in a shoujo manga so obviously his lot in life is to get stuck with the shortest end of the stick all the time. (HE ALSO. LAUGHABLY. HAS CANON DREAMS WHERE HIS FRIENDS HAVE ANIMAL FEATURES SO LIKE. FURRY BONDING IG??) he's Aggrieved about it 99.9% of the time but he's also resigned to that life

oh my god that poor dude got so set up... she's brilliant. a+ prankster. give ur friends a hard time, that's how they know you love 'em. the two of them would totally be double trouble. like if anybody sees them out and about and chatting to each other, there's just this Sense that they're about to do something really, really dumb.

FURRY BONDING... come on they can make fursonas together, it'll be great, he'll draw them even. wear that badge of shame with pride, man. and hey dirk might only add to the aggrievement half the time, but he's a pretty sincere dude and good at listening if ishikawa ever needs to mope out the resignation. broship support.

in another chapter she blindfolded him and spun him around and when he removed his blindfold he was in the girl's restroom so like. be her friend with caution, lol. there's thing whole thing of her and her bestie accidentally starting a paperball war in the class, getting sent out to stand in the hall as punishment, and then starting up another round of games outside so like. can't be tamed, man. RIP recolle high school.

and he's no psychologist, but have you considered that if you dream of all your friends as furries, and you prefer them as furries... maybe that says something about your true, anthropomorphic self. think about it. oh no i'm imagining a tiny sun jing as his lil buddy...c u t e!! i think they probably kicked it around the same playground since early grade school, but might not have got to really talking until like 11/12-ish? he was a pretty quiet/reclusive kid growing up, but that's about the time he started to be a little more outgoing and making closer friendships. (i bet they squabbled like hell when younger though. just would not give up his throne on the jungle gym.)

god yes, that is EXACTLY the life he wants to live. he will sponsor you through the thick and the thin, through the fox tails and the fursuits. don't worry bro, this is a journey they'll make, together.

LMAO OH NO... lil sun jing and dirk running around... don't worry, she's friendly and outgoing enough for anybody, so she would totally just walk up to someone and be like HEY, WE'RE FRIENDS. she's a year older than him too so her mom and/or bro was probably like BE NICE!! no... she shoves him to the ground and sits on him anyway. probably thought she had a crush on him too, at some point, but then realized lol no she ghey. and i bet she got her growth spurt before him heh heh totally lorded that over him.

I'M DYING these are not the connections his parents wanted him to make when they sent him back to recolle.......

flkasfdslk she was totally being nice, definitely. but let's be real he probably deserved to be sat on, definitely mouthed off at the slightest challenge to his reign as jungle gym king. and for that one brief moment in time, she thought m a y b e... but no they are complete disaster gays. also he probably hated her being taller for so long but HOW THE TURN TABLES... turned 14 and since then he's been hitting growth spurts with no signs of stopping yet. every new quarter-inch is a fresh victory over her.

It's ok all parents learn to accept defeat when it comes to their kids doing the opposite of what they wanted. If they wanna commiserate with his mom they totally can, he's pretty sure she's got a support group going.

wails this is adorable. since they've known each other for so long, i think it's safe to say she considers him one of her closest friends. however we can wait to see how their chemistry plays out to decide just how close, maybe?? either way, i can't wait to bounce them off each other! c:

with the way things are going, i think i'm going to go ahead and focus on sun jing for this round. but hopefully i'll be able to test ishikawa out for the next!
