AU WORKSHOP - SEPTEMBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like. OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: Are you torn between which character to app? Let us help! Post your ideas in a comment and let fellow players offer feedback and CR ideas. AU AGE: 18
AU OCCUPATION: student, jobless but looking!
BLURB:
• recently moved back to live with a distant aunt and uncle for his last year of high school (because residency rates for university, yo)
• has a baby sister back home who is growing up without him 8'(
• likes sports! outdoorsy! wears sweatbands almost religiously
• currently looking for a job because it's awkward at home since he doesn't really know his relatives and also he needs $$$
• has a vague interest in baking and pastries (mostly born out of a terrible sweet tooth that he'd learned to sate himself)
• his parents sent him back here for Opportunity so he's kind of feeling the pressure of Doing Great but he always manages to only ever be good enough and/or average in everything he does
• similarly, he had a lot of friends when he was in recolle, but since having moved to japan, he'd been something of a loner and barely made friends which worried his parents, so part of sending him back is also to hopefully enrich his social life again... they very very very heavily hinted in hoping to hear he's gotten himself a girlfriend by the end of the year :'|
• old recolle friends he's going to awkwardly try to reconnect with
• old/new recolle friends that he may have been penpals with (whether snail or digital) while he was in japan??

omg i just finished reading vol 11 and wow does ishikawa have to put up with a lot
Li-Na doesn't work in a bakery, but she does love to cook/bake. She mostly cooks Cantonese food and some random American stuff she learned in home-ec last year. Her baking is still limited to a few things (brownies, chocolate cake, swiss roll), but what little she does, she does well.

If you do decide to app him, some sort of pre-established CR might be fun! Miyamura's family owns an art shop instead of a bakery in this AU, unfortunately, but they could at least be classmates (even though Miyamura's one year younger)!

No, but really, that would be cute! I'm sure he'd probably remember it to some extent, since something like that would (shoujo sparkles) impact him on some level, but he'll absolutely lose it if he ever realizes that the guy that was nice to him that one time is the Ishikawa-kun from his memories. Wild.

but! it looks like i'll be focusing on sun jing this time around, so unfortunately ishikawa will be tabled for now. sorry! ;n; i'm hoping to app him in next round though so pls keep me in mind! ♥
