AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. So Natalia is also originally from a rural community too we could mash up to the same rural community? and I'd love to make some sort of shared history and/or if you wanted you could join her extended family clan? But either way she's actually 21 and moved out here three years ago

I like the idea of both! He'll very much need a means of supply and I like the idea of it being a PC character rather than NPC where he just disappears for awhile and is like, "I got stuff now." Hahaha.

Also more customers is lovely. He's always a fan of people who like spicy foods 'cause he loves it. Loves it.

I have Rise here that's workshopping this round who's also a senior at RHS and she's lived here for a while, so maybe they know each other in passing or they're friends from school? Rise also does a lot of volunteer work herself so it's possible they've met while doing events together or they've worked together on projects if you'd like!

In addition I also have John Egbert from Homestuck actually in-game who's a first year college student, but he's been living in the city for a couple of months now and is also pretty friendly and would appreciate someone who appreciates harmless pranks.

jasmine here is a couple of years younger and lived in the city her entire life, but they may have met as adults. her sister does volunteer with the animal shelter. and she LOVES talking to people about greater purposes.

at the very least, she's been dealing with stress lately by smoking in secret while still acting like she's 100% totally in control, nothing to see here, so they can always encounter each other on the run from "concerned" people trying to lecture them about the habit.

So Lillian and Corrin probably have/have a decent number of classes overlap in the last year or so, as Lillian is a poly-sci major. Maybe they could've met that way?

And Lillian is pretty upbeat too, though I doubt she can quite reach Corrin's level, so they could feed off each other a bit that way?

First of all later I want Ann + Rise CR bc lovers arcana but I feel like Dia would be someone Rise admires and is also vaguely terrified of so clearly they need CR. I structured her AU so that Rise does a lot of volunteer work and stuff herself so maybe they're both a part of the community service club or something akin to that? They're also both seniors so they have that connection as well!

-Atsushi is a sweet, kind young man who grew up in an orphanage in Japan before bouncing around in foster homes, and eventually, after saving a local bakery owner from being mugged, was adopted by him.
-He's an extremely hard worker who studies hard and hopes to earn a degree in social services to help keep kids in the system from ending up in neglectful situations.
-He enjoys baking, having learned tips and tricks while living with his adoptive father in an apartment above the bakery, and has a passion for cake decorating.
-He also loves to read, often getting lost in the world of books in his spare time. Adventure novels are his favorite.
-Lives in an apartment near campus and is completely independent.
-He's a bit shy and awkward but also extremely eager to make new friends in the city!
-He loves animals, especially tigers, and will spend days at the zoo just admiring all the critters.
-He's a bit clumsy with technology and is unfamiliar with most social media, but he's willing to learn about it so that he can connect with others!

LOOKING FOR: Friends, coworkers, fellow students, acquaintances, rivals, anything goes! I'd even like for him to have a love interest someday!
