AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. AU AGE: 21
AU OCCUPATION: University Student
BLURB:

-Large family on both her mom’s side and father’s side, four cousins each; related to one side by her father’s brother, and the other by her mother’s sister
-Lived with mother’s side of the family in Japan, as her father died when she was young and her mother needed the family support to raise a child as a single mother
-When she was a little older and at her American uncle’s encouragement, her mom started sending her to America during summers in order for her to get to know her father’s side of the family as well and expand her horizons
-Corrin’s American uncle offered to help her get into a very prestigious and expensive private school in America, and after discussing it with her mother, she decided to go
-She did very well in school, and was involved in a lot of activities, such as the student government, Model UN, and playing the piano. In addition:
-She was the founder and president of an Environmental Protection club, where they’d make sure the trash in the school was being properly recycled, and going around the campus planting trees and flowers, as well as pollinator gardens for the bees and gardens for the butterflies.
-Corrin also started up a book club for the school, where they'd meet every week to discuss the book they were reading for that month
-She was very excited to learn!! She did very well in her classes, though average in math and science. It's a bit of a bane of her existence.
-Corrin graduated with honor on the dean’s list, and got her pick of colleges.
-She ended up choosing Recolle because she thought it was a very forward and international city, and one she’d enjoy getting to spend the next years of her life in
-She’s studying International Relations because her dream is to help make the world a better place
-She lives in the dorms
-Corin volunteers at the library

You can also peak at her personality here, tho the app is still a WIP. But in summary: she's a very kind and peppy person who's always willing to be friendly and get to know someone. Her biggest flaw is she's too trusting and too empathetic, and it's easy to take advantage of her and walk all over her. Corrin can also be a bit stubborn, and very determined and steadfast in working towards her goals.

LOOKING FOR:

-A roommate! She's in her final year, so its possible for her to have had several past roommates as well
-Friends around campus!
-Clubs at school she could be in! i figure she was at least in Model UN again, and I was gonna have her be at ReVA either already or starting soon. she'll probably be in a book club or have started a book club if there isn't already one at the uni??
-This is a stretch, but you could've gone to high school with her!
-Perhaps you went to elementary school or middle school with her in Japan! I haven't decided where in Japan she's from yet, so I'm open to suggestions

I'm up for either!! ReVA is always recruiting for regular volunteers and/or interns, so we can make it work!

i think for ease i'll have her join this semester 'cause she's got a lighter work load for her final semester. going into her getting her next degree in the fall, i don't think she'll be in Model UN anymore which had occupied a majority of her time out of school, so she'll have plenty more time for volunteering. i'm excited for her to get to know minako 'cause i think they've got the same kind of energy to them!

Female Corrin is a huge reason I love Fates, ngl, she's so great.

she is probably a very big animal lover! i imagine there were a couple pets on one side of the animal or other, maybe both

i've been replaying fates in preparation and enjoying the ride all over again.... so good

So Lillian and Corrin probably have/have a decent number of classes overlap in the last year or so, as Lillian is a poly-sci major. Maybe they could've met that way?

And Lillian is pretty upbeat too, though I doubt she can quite reach Corrin's level, so they could feed off each other a bit that way?

Yeah, that's totally possible and I'd be happy for them to know each other! More upbeat friends is always great <3

What year is she in?

Yes! Also how does Corrin feel about adventure? (Think skydiving or hiking) also probably casual flirting lillian is an awful flirt.

She is a senior! She transferred to recolle university last January to finish her degree at the university/be near her sister.

Corrin is an extremely curious and excited person so she would definitely try something if it sounds fun, if only just to know what the experience was like. She's also got a lot of energy to burn which is why she's always doing something, so stuff like hiking would definitely be a good choice. Though she definitely wouldn't be opposed to the high stakes stuff either. Corrin probably would've been playful back, but idk if she would've been flirty back :Ia I'll have to see how her voice plays out more on the tdm. But when it's in good fun she wouldn't have minded at all.

Oh good, they're the same year too then! So they've definitely been in a lot of classes together.

I have 2 possible things! The first is Penelope here. Who is also in her final year of college and likes to read, so probably hitting up the book club. She's a peppy programmer that runs a YouTube channel, and eventually it may come out that she dated Felicia for a while? Castmate things.

The other is Yukiko Amagi, who'll be volunteering with ReVA as of January, too. So Volunteer buddy!

There's nothing to say that we can't do a little bit of both though, because she'd definitely be in pretty consistent contact with both of them if Penelope was in the book club and Yukiko was also in ReVA. i imagine the book club isn't particularly big, esp

I'm trying to figure out the best way to have an overlap here because Felicia is kind of a jock, works at the gym, and is studying to be a physical therapist. Perhaps at the library while Felicia is studying??? Who knows!

she's the type to be friends with all sorts, so if you want them to have met before, there's definitely no reason that they couldn't have become buddies! she's not necessarily the type to go to the gym tho, so knowing each other a bit through chatting at the library whenever she pops up to study and then improving upon that friendship when she's also on retrospec, maybe?

Ishida here is very dedicated to his studies and currently attends Recolle U, although he's a couple of years younger than her. I think he would be interested in Model UN, so maybe they either know each other from that or he can later join and meet her?
