Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.

Corrin is an extremely curious and excited person so she would definitely try something if it sounds fun, if only just to know what the experience was like. She's also got a lot of energy to burn which is why she's always doing something, so stuff like hiking would definitely be a good choice. Though she definitely wouldn't be opposed to the high stakes stuff either. Corrin probably would've been playful back, but idk if she would've been flirty back :Ia I'll have to see how her voice plays out more on the tdm. But when it's in good fun she wouldn't have minded at all.

Oh good, they're the same year too then! So they've definitely been in a lot of classes together.

Curious and excited is definitely the right combination here! Lillian is sick, so she is all about living as much as she ca while she can, so she tries everything fun and exciting, so if Corrin is remotely interested she'd probably get invited/dragged along.

Yes, probably! There's a ton of overlap between those two majors, I'm discovering.

I get the voice thing! I was not actually expecting Lillian to be quite as flirty as she has been, but it just kind of swung up in a few threads out of the blue! Figuring out AUs because of stuff like that is way too much fun.

she'd love to be dragged along, she'll go willingly as long as she has no responsibilities in the way <3

I usually play male Corrin and obviously like, not as an AU, so I wanna test the waters a bit and see how she comes out. It's also kind of weird because canonly she's been like, kind of curt to someone who was a known flirt and tried asking her out a lot because she knew he did it to EVERY girl, but tried really hard to be friends with someone that was known to be very lewd to people and didn't get put off by it besides like, vague awkwardness in response??? So I'm having to deal a little bit with inconsistent writing between support conversations while i figure out how she'll respond to certain things.

I feel you! I play female corrin myself so figuring out the inconsistencies can be...weird, but fun.

That's sort of the fun part of the AU is you can kind of blend those issues together a little bit with their AU history.

it kind of feels like the writing team wasn't always exactly communicating when they wrote things out haha

i think being modern is definitely a big point in favor of not being as bothered by those things, considering i think a lot of it had to do with how sheltered corrin was and she wasn't used to like. eccentric people...

Making an AU that compliments or contradicts the canon and then playing up the way they have to mesh together is great, yeah. I think it's my favorite part of playing here?

And it definitely allows for smoothing out weird writing inconsistencies.

I will throw Lillian at her on the TDM and we can see what plays out?
