AU WORKSHOP - NOVEMBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World changes FAQ • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. BLURB:

Joined the military as soon as she could to support her family. Has multiple siblings. Grew up in a farm town a few hours outside of Recolle (originally a city girl), and joined with the military with a childhood friend. She left the military about the same time he did, but remains a reservist unlike him.

Olivia was tempted to join the police force at one point, but decided against it after doing a brief stint as an MP to cover for a shortage. Instead, with some of the money she saved from an enlistment bonus, she decided to open a bar instead. Mixing drinks at parties was something she had enjoyed, so why not make it a business? Due to military training, she also makes an excellent bouncer.

Estranged from her family since she stayed “too long” in the military and refuses to retire until she feels ready. To keep up with PT requirements, Olivia can be seen jogging around and going to the gym to keep in shape.

Didn’t feel the need to go to college, has a good business sense, and is friendly enough with her regulars without stepping into the friends social level with them.

Would not mind if her siblings came back into contact with her as long as they respect her decision to remain in the military.

A frequent visitor to the Veterans Center to catch up with fellow soldiers or to tag along with her bff Zack :D

LOOKING FOR:

People other than Zack she can become friends with. Seriously. She… pretty much only has him as a friend since he’s the only one who could manage her in any way.

FAMILY. YOUNGER SIBLINGS, OLDER SIBLINGS. DOESN’T MATTER

Fellow soldiers who may have served with her. She enlisted at 18 and so has been in there a while.

People to work in her bar. It’s like a biker bar.

Elliot is Zack's younger cousin. While he didn't grow up in the same town (he's from nyc), he would've visited a number of times during the holidays and summer -- so maybe Olivia and Elliot at least know each other through that?

i think i tagged you last month too on this, but i'm still always looking to collect all the military related characters for CR

idk how often she goes on base as a reservist, but if she's gone at any time in the last 3 years or so, we can say she and bucky have met there and gotten to know each other a little! Especially because he and Zack already know each other from when he was in the military, at a different base altogether.

Look, Olivia would just find it amusing that she has someone named Rose frequenting her bar, and probably would get confused for a while if someone mentioned Rose's name. In the military the first name is rarely used, so she'd be used to having her last name said XD It would lead to amusement, and friendship can come from that.

Cain could work in her biker bar! He's balancing several jobs because he can't get his shit together long enough to hold down one job. He's a bouncer at Majima's club but he could def be a bartender/bouncer at Oliva's bar!

also they could be friends. Cain is a rowdy no good bad boy though so I'm not sure if she'd be the type of friend who goes out for drinks every now and then or they remain strictly workplace friends.

Except that I'm endlessly amused you chose Olivia as her name, since I made Freya's first name Olive and she is incredibly, utterly embarrassed about it. Calling her by her first name (repeatedly) is one of the quickest ways to her shitlist.
