AU WORKSHOP - NOVEMBER
Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.
LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like.

also!! I don't know if you'd be up for it because light doesn't live with his family, but I have it in lelouch's au history that he's actually staying with friends of family in recolle, in a something sort of like guardianship role so that's one way that they could be acquainted if you're up for it! like lelouch and his npc sister staying with light's au family so they're kind of pseudo-siblings

if not, I'd love for them to be terrible but great friends especially since lelouch has gotten back some questionable memories. run into him as zero, light, it'll be fun???? please think that his academic talent is wasted - lelouch is exceptionally smart but he. doesn't really put himself to it so he's kind of coasting through university unlike light, laughs.

We could definitely work something out! I'll see a bit on specifics depending on what other people might be interested in being relatives, but at the very least I can definitely seem them as like. Maybe something close to actual friends/at least to the extent Light would have. Similar thoughts on...life. LELOUCH IS SMART so that is very important to him. He probably wouldn't judge too much re: school because he just applies himself to it because he can and he likes winning. And being the best at things.

they definitely can be friends and then clash drastically over their various ideals, laughs. I can't wait for lelouch to say the whole "the ones who are prepared to die are the only ones who should kill" to light because boom, smackdown.

also intense chess matches are fun to challenge light to I guess, since he's competitive and lelouch doesn't like losing at chess either

if you go with kaito there's also a phantom thief pun there I would make if not for the fact that lelouch doesn't know Japanese in this au, alas.

A man after his own heart, tbh...except LBR Light isn't prepared to die and talks big shit. Offing other people is way easier! Especially if they deserve it!

They would be stupidly dramatically intense with internal monologuing and edgy camera angles. Go big or go home.

LELOUCH WON'T APPRECIATE THE IRONY! Also TBH Kaito is the name I used for my first Persona 5 run for that exact reason. Atlus lost a golden opportunity yet again.

HE...probably...honestly wouldn't care too much in regards to it bothering him or something. Like I'm sure he'd assume Lelouch was doing it because he wanted the stimulation, of sorts, or to take advantage of people who used gambling to fund more shady shit or whatever. Light would support counting cards to debase actual gambling addicts or criminals because they deserve it, right?

LMFAO you're right. Light always got red so Lelouch can be purple.

Omg. WELL. Hm. That depends. If he likes Lelouch enough he would, but he might honestly "let" him spend a night in jail to prove a point. The act all "oh I needed to get the funds together". But Lelouch would probably understand. ALSO again if he thought Lelouch was doing it in pursuit of messing with riffraff he would be more supportive.
