AU WORKSHOP - NOVEMBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World changes FAQ • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. That... that meme is amazing and is almost certainly accurate, but if that's the greeting Alice gets every time she can evenally be worn down. She absolutely needs a friend like that, she's not naturally the most social type, so please drag her to concerts and clubs and whatever else, Ibuki.

Of course! I'm looking forward to it as well. She may cling to Yuuichi and her family more once the whole premise hits her on the face. But I'm looking forward to this too. It'll be an interesting dynamic this time around since they'll have more history than they did in MoM.

Komui and his siscon are played for laughs a lot in the series, but he loves his sister

GOOD ON YOU!! I think people forget she's actually pretty clever/crafty because she's always in the same realm/being compared to Light and L. But not many people would've been able to pull off what she did as the Second Kira. And let's not forget SHE found Light, not the other way around.

Honestly. The only reason she gets sidelined/laughed about imo is specifically because she shares a series with them and everyone thus thinks she is so stupid. She really isn't. She just has her own way of doing things, is all.

Oh sure thing. If there's performing arts event plot or they happen to bump into each other, that'll be fine by me. Jamie covers social events and social issues within Recolle, so he should be have met Joey one way or the other.

It could be both! Cain's trying to turn his life around now that he's an adult but he's not being very successful at it. If Cain was getting scoffed for making the family look bad, he would probably scoff at Joseph for being well off since Cain's had a rough life since coming to America. Sort of like you don't know what's really 'bad' kind of attitude.

BLURB:

• Still a ridiculous genius. Loves math and science and computers and will readily absorb any and all information he reads about that. Voracious reader (particularly of nonfiction).
• Not terribly ambitious. Dropped out of college 15-odd years ago because the classes he was interested in moved too slow and also he had to take some he wasn't interested in. Ain't nobody got time for that.
• Not as accomplished as OU Qubit. He gets ideas for inventions, but doesn't have the patience to actually implement and test them, since he doesn't have a superpower that lets him build instant prototypes.
• Instead, he writes about them! He has had a few short stories published in sci-fi magazines, developing a theme of man's relationship with technology and the consequences of abusing it. They are actually pretty insightful, if kind of preachy.
• He's trying to write a novel but he keeps getting distracted by research for his novel.
• A bit of a perfectionist like that.
• For his day job, he works in the IT department at Recollé University. He is the guy who has to come in when your professor can't get the projector to work. But tech-illiterate people drive him up a wall, so he kind of hates it.
• He has a blog! There, he writes mainly about things that make him angry, like climate change, corporate data breaches, and human suffering. He tries to do "faith in humanity restored" pieces every so often, too, though. It actually has a modest following even though he can't stick to a consistent update schedule.
• Has absolutely started a roof garden on top of his apartment building, where he grows assorted herbs and produce. (No, not including weed.) His landlord keeps trying to make him remove it.
• Amazing cook. You absolutely want him at your potluck.
• Capable of wearing colors other than green. Still likes green a lot though.
• Hair is still ridiculous and he's very proud of it.
• Raised Jewish but rarely practices. More of a deist really.
• Doesn't speak German.
• Has never vigilante'd or killed anybody.
• No, you may not call him Mike. Yes, you may call him Q.

LOOKING FOR:

• Nobody atm since not actually apping him yet but
• if I do at some point, I'd be looking for a girlfriend and/or family members for him
• the girlfriend because he doesn't have the aversion to human touch that he does in canon, and I would love to play out how him regaining that affects (ruins) a romantic relationship.
• the family because I have always headcanoned him as having an older brother who's like the Mycroft to his Sherlock, who actually doesn't give their parents heart attacks every time he does something, and that dynamic would be fun.
• repeat offenders at Recolle U. i.e. people who just can't stop breaking shit. or who do it on purpose. WHY, PEOPLE. WHY.

OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: I'm still willing to app OoT Zelda at some point if someone will app Ganondorf as her dad.
