AU WORKSHOP - NOVEMBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World changes FAQ • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. I will always volunteer Matt to be the good adult in people's lives! even if he actually has a ton of issues and is a total hypocrite for helping everyone except himself ahaha He's just a little obsessed with doing the right thing. I thought about having her go to night school so she might even come from school to work since night is relative in bar terms, unless the bar is also in need of daytime security or help of some kind--she'd be fine with waiting tables or barbacking or whatever since I do see other offers to bounce. The swearing, crudeness, and temper aren't necessarily bad qualities! Different but not necessarily bad. It's more the associations in her own head, anyway, at least until/if she gets to know Olivia better. How long has Olivia had the bar? Could Alice have started there shortly after coming to Recolle?

I like the idea of them meeting thanks to her teaching. Just imagine this grown man smiling and saying "Wait. Were you that teenage girl years ago who took on an entire gang of bullies to defend her friends? My father slipped up and told me the story- he was one of the cops on the case. I wanted to be like you when I got older."

Along with Matt's niece being a student at the school I was thinking that Matt sometimes shows up to the high school as the professional expert who helps with the mock trial club, so that might give them a chance to interact, especially if she ever fills in for whatever teacher looks after the club.

Everyone has to start somewhere. I could see it initially being out of 'okay but why would I take this to someone else to pay them to fix it when I could learn to do this myself?' and then over time as she gets better, finds that she actually enjoys it more.

Sakura eventually maybe getting used to being dragged to model or fit whatever Madison had made this time. While the rest of her classmates are all '....??? what? Did Madison just randomly pull Sakura into that other classroom?' Look this is probably just because Madison knows her measurements from her first having ended up offering to model something for her? We love Tomoyo really.

'S all good, just thought I'd clarify! Mutual secret keeping is something Ibuki is both really good and really bad at, it just depends on if she actually REMEMBERS she can rat Alice out for her dog... her memory is so terrible, she gets lost if she leaves her house without her written memos.
So it's safe to say that Alice doesn't actually have anything to worry about, on that front.

But if you want aggressively friendly, you've come to the right place!! Not even insulting Ibuki works, considering she befriends the biggest bully in her canon despite said bully cutting her pretty deep with a lot of her insults. It's nuts. She's a little nuts.
But hey, if Alice can put up with that and also being bothered at random times with little to no warning, they would absolutely get along!!

A mechanic, huh? How likely would Franky be to whip things up as stage assets if he'd been paid to?
Because Ibuki is a fan of using ridiculous effects and pyrotechnics in her performances, and if he doesn't mind creations being returned covered in (pig) guts/blood, he could absolutely be someone she bugs on that end!

(She is living with a mad inventor in Recolle, but there's nothing wrong with having multiple outlets for weird machines that spark and make loud noises, right??

Plus CR between giant big brother types and this tinyass metalhead is always fun, trust me. She likes using people as jungle gyms.)

btw Li-Na and Zhong Hui will be have a common relative in Xiaolang, though they're connected to different parts of his family tree. Li-Na's mom was cousins with Xiaolang's dad

I'm thinking that maybe her older brother works for Zhong Hui's family's company? he's an electrical engineer, and a tech company would need a few of those in the house. he would have started working for them seven years ago after finishing university.

so Li-Na might not have known Zhong Hui personally, but she might have heard the name of the heir of the company her brother works for?
