AU WORKSHOP - NOVEMBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World changes FAQ • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. BLURB:
☘ pre-vet but double majoring in bio and international relations, in her last year of undergrad
☘ volunteers all over but mostly at a dog sanctuary, shadows at a vet clinic
☘ an overachiever who cares about her image a lot (she's a pretentious tryhard i'm sorry)
☘ wants to seem like a model citizen you can look to and depend on (i.e. responsible, moral, poised, upright, etc. )
☘ she can't help but be a mom friend even though she tries to resist it sometimes
☘ born and raised in Recolle
☘ orphan, parents abandoned her at a young age
☘ grew up in the foster system, would do anything for the group of kids she bonded with growing up in the orphanage (whom she considers her siblings)
☘ ran away from home for a few days in high school (because she was dumb and overdramatic)
☘ in her first couple years of undergrad, she partied hard because she needed some sort of outlet and didn't know who she was. SHE WAS LOST AND A HOT MESS
☘ now she pretends her party life never happened
☘ she likes to pretend a lot of things never happened
☘ she will break her bank to keep her nails perfectly manicured
☘ she tries desperately to seem like she's got it together, but she doesn't. she's massively insecure and has the worst temper once she snaps

So I'm not sure if we've the material to facilitate it (they actually seem like they'd get along on paper) but I am absolutely 200% here for a friend that she secretly hates a lot. I'm so down for that shit

i'm reading your blurb and i think it can happen, depending on what clover can know about natasha? but it's very possible for clover to be supportive of natasha but like secretly judge or think ill of how free spirited she is? or how she is so. i'm canon blind, so i can't make proper judgments, but clover is very easily envious because of her insecurity

mostly i'm just really happy you're down for being secretly hated, but i'm good with them having met at uni for a start!

Minako works at ReVA (the Recolle Volunteer Association) so maybe the two of them know each other from that? Her twin brother Minato also works at the dog sanctuary, and Minako has her own dog that she would take to the vet clinic occasionally too!

yes, they can know each other through ReVA! and they can def see each other at the dog sanctuary and vet clinic. she'd think koromaru is the cutest tbh

clover is jasmine's "sister", which is something minako can also know! squints maybe i should've mentioned in my blurb

but if or when she finds out minako is twins with minato, she'll be like... how..... internally. she wouldn't say that out loud.

i think he'd be somewhere halfway in between something of a nightmare and someone she'd respect for how capable he can be? on one hand, she tries to be prim and proper so his shitposting ways will annoy her. on the other hand, if she ever sees how good he is to kyouko, she wouldn't be able to hate him just for that fact since lucy and i worked out that clover and kyouko will be good friends

but i'm also 100% here for baren knowing her when she partied hard and giving her shit for how she is now, if he'd do that? i know you've said baren's generally nicer to girls, so i'm uncertain??

clover thinks so many rude things but makes concentrated effort to not say them unless she's really annoyed, but i think if she's overworked or really tired or stressed, it can slip out

finals or midterm time.... after she gets to know minako more, she'll be like... minato??? how

or i guess if minato can somehow make her angry or is around when someone else has made her angry, it can come out that way, too

if you'd like cain could be a past one night stand or partner from her party hard life! cain is all about the live fast and die never crowd so it's possible they've run into each other a few time in that scene. that and he's also very flirtatious and promiscuous.

they'd also get along because cain has run away from numerous homes and has a small criminal record from growing up.

clover is actually very much a goody two shoes, or she tries hard to be one (her partying was her acting out because of how repressed she'd been), so she'd be disapproving depending on what kind of small criminal things he did

but also if he met her outside of parties, it'd be.... not quite like night and day since she's not the greatest actor but noticeable enough. idk if that'd change anything with how he'd treat her?

Another Recolle Orphanage kid? Matt is 12 years older but he still could have met her while she was very little. He stayed with the orphanage until he aged out, so he was there around her first six years of life. IDK how young you were thinking she was left by her parents.
