AU WORKSHOP - OCTOBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World changes FAQ • As per our game-wide poll, we will be holding an application round in October and in November! After that, apps will resume their bi-monthly schedule. The game calendar has now been updated with the dates for this. • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like. OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: Are you torn between which character to app? Let us help! Post your ideas in a comment and let fellow players offer feedback and CR ideas. You can also use this section to ask for canonmates you would like to see in-game whether it be in your specific AU or for different CR. |

Wanna have her and Kirishima having clashed before? He's still considerably "darker" and more jaded and a bit less energetic than in canon right now, hailing from a family that's involved with the organized crime and wanting to become a criminal as well. He also thinks that heroes are a stupid and over-rated idea in general and does capoeira, maybe they met at a dojo or neighborhood tournament once and reverse-bonding over sentai shows happened?
*darker in quotation marks because he's still got his morals and his manly heart, so he's not exactly the most gifted at being unscrupulous or evil ;;

she is 100% on the hero side here so... yeah i can definitely see them clashing, especially if it came up at the dojo in like a "why are you here, what's your motivation" sort of way! she's very passionate about the heroes of her sentai shows so she will defend them valiantly! and be very annoyed with someone putting them down LOL
also, tournaments?? yes but she is weirdly intense about it. god forbid they ever have to face each other in the ring...

Kiri made the grave mistake of scoffing at her heroes and calling them terrible at fighting any REAL opponents that aren't mooks once and then she most likely sent him flying just for him to come back for a revenge match for 2 weeks straight before the instructors had enough of them?
Maybe they could have had something more informal or sparring-like to justify their different battling styles, else we'll need a tournament like TEKKEN lmao. Kirishima also did some underground fighting before, but since he's relocated to Recolle he hasn't really gone there due to other stuff happening. It's kinda hard to go find a reliable rink while half of your CR suddenly fell off the corner of reality or decides to engage in linedancing with knights (which actually happened).

I was thinking of throwing her at fight club once she hears about it too! I don't remember seeing Kirishima in those logs but they could always hook up for sparring there too!

watch him have a harder time finding something to argue against manliness. how can you use it against him like that? ;;I haven't gotten around to toss him to any of the fight club logs yet, but that can always be changed! It'll have to wait until he's a bit better used to having gotten back his quirk though, since I can't see Kirishima wanting to put himself on display and risking to hurt his opponents before he can be sure he's not turning hard at random.
(lol yep! all the groups were fantastic, I never got out of laughing with them)
