AU WORKSHOP - OCTOBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World changes FAQ • As per our game-wide poll, we will be holding an application round in October and in November! After that, apps will resume their bi-monthly schedule. The game calendar has now been updated with the dates for this. • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like. OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: Are you torn between which character to app? Let us help! Post your ideas in a comment and let fellow players offer feedback and CR ideas. ...seeing this reminds me on my vague forever ago half consideration on making an account for Eureka. But really. I say go for it. This au sounds cute, surfing and all!

thank you so much!! anemone deserves a happier world after all that shit she went through ugh. anyways while you're here, id definitely love sakura cr if that's cool with you? anemone can be her super cool big sister figure who can show her how to ride the waves... or even cosplay magical girls and stuff bc she can be into that too

Eureka is precious okay. I was half tempted when I last rewatched. Even if that was years back now and I still need to watch AO. So behind.

But yes, I know what you mean. I'm tempted with so many characters and half of it is just 'okay but they could be happier here?!' and then remember 'wait. Shit no that might make things worse if they remember......all that...../gestures to canon. Especially in The Walking Dead for Clementine.'

I'd love cr with her though, that sounds cute. And lol cosplaying magical girls. Anemone would not realize how much that would blow Sakura's mind with regains......

I HAVEN'T STARTED ON AO and i don't think i need to since anemone and dominic aren't even there? what is the point

but if that's too obvious for sakura, maybe they can just be good neighbors? either way anemone's going to show her the world and maybe teach her how to surf if she's up to it o7

Not just me that is behind then, oh good! I am not sure if Anemone is in it or not? I think it seems to mostly focus on the Next Generation sort of deal or something as far as I gather. I haven't really looked into it yet, though I've meant to. Other series have just distracted me, I guess.

It might be obvious but probably less so than her finding out about this world's version of CCS. Regardless, I approve of this and now have A Whole New World stuck in my head. Thank you.
