AU WORKSHOP - OCTOBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World changes FAQ • As per our game-wide poll, we will be holding an application round in October and in November! After that, apps will resume their bi-monthly schedule. The game calendar has now been updated with the dates for this. • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? AU NAME: NOT SURE YET TBH she'll probably be named after a flower as well like "lily"... hmu for more ideas!

AU OCCUPATION: student/part-timing at a flowershop!

- orphaned at an early age but will be taken in by a lovely family!
- unlike her shitshow of a canon personality, she'd be a lot cheerful and more genuinely happy! she still suffers from intense moodswings but at least she doesn't kill people over it lmao
- REALLY LOVES SURFING and always has been ever since she was little - you'll always see her at the beach checking out some gnarly waves

- she does have a bit of an illness that she'd had ever since she's born. nothing too serious but she gets intense headaches once she gets overwhelmed and needs to be checked with a doctor as a result and might even get admitted in the hospital if it ever gets worse... still need to figure out an actual name for this illness though lmao
- but yeah she'll be working at a Ophelia's Lament! she loves flowers, she decorates everything with flowers
- she loves anime and manga! she's been cosplaying since middle school! she has a huge penchant over mecha anime tbh
- id probably have her join the cooking club in her high school bc she also loves cooking! she's one hell of a hobbyist but only bc she wants to keep herself distracted from stress and all that

I am currently on the search for siblings for Derek. Derek is from a huge, smothering, loving family (seven kids in total) and all of the kids are adopted.
Would anemone be interested in having an older brother who is a CSI and loves to tease and prank is younger siblings?

Yes, this would probably make her a Matthews now. You can check Derek's recolle app to find out more who he was raised. His adopted parents are Roy and Tracy Matthews, Roy is a chemical engineer and Tracy was originally a nurse before adopting a lot of kids. Derek has three younger siblings, so you can choose which ever one you want.
Derek was definitely pulled pranks such as this is you want to get an idea of what he has done in the past.
Derek lives out in Tisse, so I figure his AU family would have a spare key to is apartment and anemone would be free to visit as she please. However, he does have a a very territorial cat and a recently acquired pet eagle owl.
Also, fun fact: Derek was a theater kid in high school, he took two years.
I can definitely see Derek being an over protective older brother, especially if anemone has an illness.
He's probably going to freak out to see his younger sister on the app.

Foggy totally is into geeky stuff like Star Wars and anime. She might see him as a boring adult anyway but he'd attempt to be friendly and chat with her about their common interests if it comes up. He's also a teacher at the local high school. If they end up as relatives he would likely not be allowed to be her actual teacher but either way he is around if she needs an adult for some reason.

Amanda is going to be part of the expansive Matthews family as well! She's a smidge older (17, turning 18 in March) so I guess they can have catty arguments and snip at each other as sisters do. But really, Amanda would be more laid back at home and let Anemone do her thing. Amanda cycles through hobbies pretty quickly, so maybe she could bug Anemone for things to do, haha.
As for flower names... Clover. Name her Clover. Or Camellia, or Violet. Or even Aster?? I COULD PROBABLY THINK OF A FEW MORE idk man
