AU WORKSHOP - OCTOBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World changes FAQ • As per our game-wide poll, we will be holding an application round in October and in November! After that, apps will resume their bi-monthly schedule. The game calendar has now been updated with the dates for this. • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! AU OCCUPATION: College student/student-teacher at the local high school by day, volunteer at the hospital by evening (and weekend), and super-studious at night, Sion Astal's current occupation is a machine (no, really, he never sleeps or eats)!!

BLURB:

-Transfer student to Recolle University from France, has lived in Recolle for a little over two years.
-The reason for the transfer is a 'secret': born to a v. ruthless, v. corrupt politician of a father, Sion transferred to a different University at the behest of his mother who, at the time, did not wish for Sion's future to be tarnished by his father's name.
-Super sociable and affable by day, loner at night. Have you ever lost your way on campus? Ever had your belongings stolen by some petty thief? Have you ever had a no good, very bad day? Sion gave you directions, chased down that thief and retrieved your belongings, and cheered you up with flowers and pastries all in swift succession. He easily falls into the 'mom friend' category and will always go out of his way to help someone else, until...!
-No one else is around, and Sion turns into a broodmaster. At times, he's so distant and withdrawn he seems strangely like a different person...?
-Has a reputation for being effortlessly (and annoyingly) good at everything. Perfect grades, perfect at extra-circulars, and perfect hair?!
-Likes to play the violin while staring forlornly out of windows in high places
-Actually just adores high places and probably does parkour runs over the buildings on Recolle University's campus.
-Has an adorable puppy named Dango (probably). It's a good conversation starter??

LOOKING FOR:

-COLLEGE BUDDIES. People who Sion might be tutoring, have class with, or hxc study sessions with!!
-HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO MENTOR. As Sion is a student-teacher at the high-school, and is very easily a nurturing type, I'd love to grab some cr here. o/
-PEOPLE TO VOLUNTEER AT THE HOSPTIAL WITH. Sion will likely volunteer in one of the clinic /playrooms/waiting areas and be a greeter.
-PEOPLE WHO CAN GET HIM TO TAKE CARE OF HIMSEF. Warning: this is something of a feat.
-MAYBE A ROOMMATE??

- Moved to basically g e t a w a y, thank you university
- Kind of meandering through life, never gave much throught to overall goals
- more confident and self-assured than canon due to no superpowered berserker side or traumatic childhood event
- COLOSSAL WEEB, owns a flea market katana. He is the BIG ANIME FAN. His room is full of figures and wall scrolls.
- Is pretty much totally supported by family but works at the college radio station anyway
- his radio persona is THE DEMON PRINCE and he dresses like a total tool in the studio even if nobody can see it, mock him
- Has a recurring problem of being UNABLE TO SAY NO so please don't bully him and take advantage of his tender nature
- Remains a horrible monster who cannot stop headpatting people

she is 100% on the hero side here so... yeah i can definitely see them clashing, especially if it came up at the dojo in like a "why are you here, what's your motivation" sort of way! she's very passionate about the heroes of her sentai shows so she will defend them valiantly! and be very annoyed with someone putting them down LOL

also, tournaments?? yes but she is weirdly intense about it. god forbid they ever have to face each other in the ring...

Hello!

I am looking for siblings for Derek and I have one more younger sibling spot open. ALL the kids are adopted and there are seven in total, Derek being smack dab in the middle. I already have him having two younger sisters (anemone from eureka seven and Amanda O'Neill from Little Witch Academia) and one older brother (Asterios from Fate/Grand Order). Foggy Nelson from Daredevil and Natasha Romanov will be his cousins.

Derek is a CSI and works at Recolle Crime Labs. He's all about the science and can be a protective older brother, who at the same time is a huge troll and pranks his siblings.

practice partners...! :3c Minato started learning the fundamentals in high school to satisfy electives, so he's been playing for a good number of years, just sort of casually without formal lessons after high school so he can probably listen to a song and figure out how to play it back, but his sheet music reading might take more practice. They can get better together!!

I can't wait to regain that outfit even if I never learn anything about the game itself hahaha

They can teach each other...! aka I get to rely on Google so much because I like acrylics better than watercolors, you can cover mistakes with acrylics by slapping on more paint but you can't really with watercolors... Keep the water clean and test colors before using them and have the final image in mind so you know where to avoid coloring in highlights...
