AU WORKSHOP - AUGUST Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. honestly i hope that daisuke regains most of his thief memories just because of all the dumb shit that he and naegi get themselves into and his thief reflexes come to save them from being arrested like three times a week

how much does naegi weigh... he could probably carry him when he gets his abilities back

use your newfound phantom thief powers to steal them some food, daisuke, do it for them. university is a scam and no one truly needs it

NAEGI WEIGHS.... 52kg/115lbs so he's light. he's like 10lbs heavier than me like wtf why is he so tiny

well i mean... daisuke was 5' 2" in canon so... they can be shorties together

you know he does. you know that naegi has 8am classes and when he sees free breakfast, he texts daisuke and is like i'm going to see if i grab 1832719 bagels for us

yeah but he's like 5'5" now isn't he. he....... is taller than naegi

HE IS because naegi was like... 160cm/5'2" in dr1 + dr3 so like he definitely would have stopped growing and i want to say that he also would have stopped growing in recolle too

so daisuke is taller than naegi................

they can just get the sauce packets from their noodles and sprinkle their bagels with it. nbd

he included the antenna... they can understand each other's pain at least. a stepstool is also too much of a luxury so they probably have to jump for things or buy all low furniture (if they even get to that point)

have we decided on how much or how little furniture they have

do their parents at least help them each get a bed and a couch or were they like nah and threw out their sons into the wild with absolutely nothing

did daisuke and naegi sleep on the floor for the first six months of moving out. what's the story

at least from daisuke's side, his parents would have at least given him a bed at the minimum. a microwave too, because they knew that he didn't know how to cook much when he first moved out. then there's a drawer for his clothes. probably brought in that fridge too... but that's about it

their lives sound more and more pathetic the more we talk about them

okok i won't make naegi's parents that cruel and have them also give him a bed and a dresser and a microwave (so they have two microwaves???) and since daisuke got the fridge then naegi's parents would have left a rice cooker and.. a blender for some reason???

but they don't have a fucking dining table or chairs or a couch so they just eat on the goddamn floor staring at the wall because no tv or internet like the peasants they ar

maybe the first thing on their list is a table with chairs that they put in the living room so that they dont destroy their backs... which also probably means all their homework and stuff was probably done in the living room too

they probably walk around the neighbourhood on trash day to see if anyone is throwing out their old furniture and then they can drag it back home

or they wake up really early to go to garage sales to buy their stuff and bargain and pool their money in together

i hope naegi had a friend or two that could drive to lug their huge loot from garage sales... they sell all kinds of stuff. sometimes they leave mattresses outside for anyone to take. or old monitors. or mirrors, even. one man's trash is another's treasure...

i can't believe they have to go through this kind of stuff before they even hit uni. these poor kids

he probably cries to kirigiri until she agrees to drive them around because ;o;

their apt looks like a blind person put it together with all the mismatching furniture and it smells like an old man's back but at least they have somewhere to actually sit and watch tv on their tiny portable tv they found in the trash

their parents are hardcore at trying to have these kids build their independence. that or just really neglectful

they can pay her back with food but thinking of food, i'm thinking of having naegi work in a restaurant so he can sometimes bring home leftovers from the kitchen and that can keep the boys going on until their next paycheque

ah is that the real reason why they had all those scent plugs......

that'd be a good idea, actually! i know depending on paneras (even if you're not allowed to), someone takes all the spare bread home or they throw it out because they adhere to the FRESH BAKED BREAD ONLY schtick
