Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Miller absolutely would want to play super-accountant and help her manage her money but despite thinking she was mad hot he'd probably feel the "Way out of my league"s pretty hard. And I love doing that to this loser.

I MEAN IF HE'S GOT THE CREDENTIALS she could easily have hired him to be a business manager or a staff accountant or something, the nice thing about her having Multiple Enterprises™ is that she'd accordingly need a fair amount of staff to support that

ALSO PLEASE THINK SHE IS MAD HOT AS MUCH AS YOU SEE FIT, I'M ALL FOR IT

(spoilers it's because she's mad hot, objectively)

High class hot is the worst hot. One can only pray for those type of women to go slumming it.

And he even thinks that as a fairly independently wealthy man.

He used to work for a major firm before he started his own smaller one, because he realized they were dealing with some scummy people and also they were blocking him from getting promoted for the sake of people that came from ~money~.

So he'd have the credentials of having worked for a big name but also the history of having quit it. He might have to do the "please pay attention to my kind-of-small firm" at her.

I mean, that's kind of what she did herself, so I suspect she'd definitely have some empathy for his decision to strike out on his own — she's big on personal independence so if he'd sold it to her that way (that he's got the credentials but made the choice to strike out on his own for integrity/advancement reasons) and he's got the skills to back it up, there's definitely no reason why she wouldn't be interested.

Plus she'd probably see it as a way of supporting and advancing him in return, to be able to say he'd worked with a client of her company's magnitude, and she's big on helping people get a leg up in the world in that respect, too!

So basically yeah, I could definitely see that flying. o/
