Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc.
BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.

i mean who doesn't lowkey have a crush on her honestly

also carmen would straight up name all her scholarships after female pioneers in the various fields they're for, particularly ones who don't tend to get a lot of recognition

the "you WILL sit up and take notice of rosalind franklin and ada lovelace" scholarships

I always loved the fact that canonically speaking she spent 90% of the time pulling her shenanigans in a pencil skirt, turtleneck, and pumps (which is the outfit she wears under her coat)

and the other 10% of the time was when she was in a cold weather environment so she very prudently wore a fur-lined coat and pants and boots

but regardless it's her sort of perpetual "and by the way keep in mind that i'm smoking you this bad and I'm doing it in high heels"
