a wannabe good upperclassmen and kindred spirit sounds so good. the set up sounds really cute, too! i'm totally down for that. he'll probably be more likely to open up to him if we go with the wet cat story. maybe that cat can be Morrigan.

this also means he's going to subtly harass him as they get closer. let's hope the times six enables him, akira doesn't just drag him along. both of them + camille will be known as the triple threat, living fast, living furious!!

Mari and Link will be seniors together and this'll be her first year at recolle high!!

THAT SAID - Ari hangs out with the theater department of Recolle U so much she might actually be considered part of it. She does a lot of work benefiting it and the community theater in general, and just plain helping out with admin/funding etc since she wants to make Recolle into Broadway. She looooves theater people so I imagine she'd end up knowing Magilou through that.

I'm not sure exactly how well they'd get along considering Magilou's trollish nature, but Ari is good at playing nice. Could end up being a sort of 'poke her and see what makes her tick' sort of deal lol. I promise she won't hate Magilou for it but she might make a lot of very doe eyed frowning faces.


I also play Sorey but he's never been near a theater in his life, unfortunately. (He's a bartender and student teacher.) If Lailah and Magilou know each other, though, that might help? Since he's been attached to Lailah's son since the day they freaking moved in.

Yeah, they would probably get along when it comes to theater stuff. But as for the trolling issue, Magilou will probably not be actively that harsh on her, because in general she doesn't try to actively hurt people, just rile them up. So yeah she'd probably just poke a bit, nothing too bad.

And yeah, she probably ran into Sorey maybe a few times? I don't think they would be particularly close but at least they would be like, acquainted or something.

*laughs* Well well. Then the people she'll have tried to set her up with will all have been girls, because clearly she caught her casting eyes towards the fairer sex far more than towards men.

Chloe herself is quite the open lesbian, but until this last month, was in a committed, long-distance relationship. There were rumors she had a thing for some rich girl briefly, but they never quite went anywhere. So she's been far more the sort to set people up. However, she definitely has a European's sense of personal space, ergo... much much closer than most Americans like.

In other words? A recipe for disaster (especially since she loves it when friends squawk.)

Kouran | Original Character

I had her in the last workshop but didn't app her for April, so this is slightly updated and with a shiny new PB!

PLAYER: Mori
CHARACTER: Kouran
CANON: Original. She's from a setting where a Japanese town happens to have a series of seals keeping horrific monsters from running loose into the world. Said seals also happen to be breaking, because the town is growing into a city. Kouran is a seasonal god (winter and spring) and one of the town's guardian deities, and a terrible mentor to a bunch of kids + one college student who have gained powers and are pretty much the only hope the town has if they don't want to be overrun by monsters. The problem is half of them are kind of asshats.


AU NAME: Kouran Yamazaki
AU AGE: 15-16
AU OCCUPATION: Student, part-timer at a florist shop
BLURB: - Born in Japan, has lived most of her life in Kyoto.
- Family owns a huge construction firm and is pretty rich.
- Parents are traditionalists and a little overprotective over her, so she's been raised to be a Good Proper Lady from a young age. Largely home-schooled and taught traditional Japanese arts such as calligraphy, tea ceremony, flower arrangement etc.
- They also have business ties to the yakuza, which has lead to a huge scandal involving fraud and blackmail around 7-9 months or so ago.
- She's been sent to Recolle to live with relatives and lay low until the fallout from above scandal cools off. She's been in Recolle for about 7+ months and lives with Sousuke's family.
- Lived a highly regimented and supervised lifestyle before Recolle, so she's been basking in the relative freedom she has while she's staying with her relatives.
- Polite, cultured, and probably gives off an air of being really high brow and upper class...
- ...But also something of an airhead and frankly just plain eccentric. She's prone to being absent-minded and it's easy to tell she's rather sheltered.
- Doesn't go out of the way to socialise a whole lot, but is generally easy to get along with. Really hard to anger.
- Likes to paint and genuinely enjoys flower arrangement, which is one reason why she's working at the florist shop. Prefers still-life painting and natural subjects.
- Adores cute things. Also finds many creepy things adorable. She enjoys things like ghost stories, occult stuff and morbid imagery, and thinks it's all entertaining in good fun.
- She's probably dabbling in trying to figure out her own interests since this is like, the most freedom she's ever had in her life to try new things. Does not invalidate the above, just that not being chaperoned constantly means she indulges her curiosity way more often, which will most likely get her into trouble.
- Has complicated feelings about her parents and the expectations placed on her, which is to say, she doesn't really hate or resent them, but she is also increasingly unhappy with the railroading and the looming marriage interview that they will probably want for her in the near future.

LOOKING FOR:
- My dream is to have PCs as one or two of her older siblings who may or may not have flipped off the familial obligations and ollied out to do their own thing, if you give me any of them I will actually cry tears of joy,,,
- Friends! Classmates at high school! Please befriend this weirdo girl. People she might have met at the florist shop also count. She hasn't had many friends growing up so it'd be nice for her to actually make some here.
- Other rich kids or associates she could have known from back home or through her family's connections.
- Good influences! Bad influences! She's a sheltered kid so she's kind of impressionable.
- Really I'm game for anything, a lot of background details are flexible to accommodate whatever. My current plan is for her to have a relatively nice and normal life with friendships and growing up before I drop the "btw you're not actually human or very good at being a person, also have fun being removed from your own humanity" stuff on her via regains.

Excellent. That'll make her even more mad. I feel like mary is probably the resident feminist ("DON'T BOTHER WITH BOYS" - an actual, real canon quote) who gets a liiittle too wild about her opinions every now and then in class so that'll make her even more mad.
