AU OCCUPATION: Acting Teacher/Head of an Acting Troupe
BLURB:

➣ Was adopted when she was still pretty young by her father.. She makes a lot of orphan jokes with anyone who finds out.
➣ Was pretty much just a massive social outcast as a kid due to being highly intelligent(she still is), so she adopted a more comedic persona to get people to like her, which worked.
➣ Is estranged from her rather controlling, perfectionist father, and has been for ten or so years. It was after they had their falling out that she moved to Recolle.
➣ Just a complete memelord.
➣ She has a youtube channel, which can be described as sorta something along the lines of filthy frank. Or basically, complete degeneracy.
➣ Runs a theater troupe during the summer, but throughout the year she both teaches acting classes and runs her youtube channel.
➣ Probably should be getting therapy yet isn't.
➣ Self identifies as a "Professional Troll."
➣ Actually has a deep interest in metaphysics and philosophy and can appreciate having deep, philosophical conversations with people. These are usually rare though.
➣ Secretly writes poetry.
➣ I feel like she's one of those people who types just in entirely proper grammar with perfect spelling, and yet does so while saying the most absurdly stupid things imaginable. Just for more irony.
➣ Her years of exposure to /pol/ have left her without the ability to be offended and something of a distaste for the left.

LOOKING FOR:
➣ Maybe some students/former students of hers? Magilou does enjoy the company of other people into the performing arts.
➣ Friends. Specifically anyone who can put up with getting dragged into insane hi-jinx.
➣ Fellow memelords/Internet Friends. AKA people to send weird pictures all day.
➣ Actual adult friends, who she desperately needs in her life. Probably someone who could inject some semblance of sanity into her life, or maybe like, a debating partner or something.
➣ Maybe some sort of roommate(s)? Idk I just feel like Magilou would be the sort of person who would live with other people. She does like to be around other people, though paradoxically doesn't like getting close to anyone.
➣ Really, anyone. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to working this kind of thing out.
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: Also am considering apping Joshua from TWEWY but I've settled on Magilou for this particular app cycle. Also I'm on the Discord, just fyi.

...I kind of feel like these two would be terrible together. As in terrible for everyone around them. So maybe they should be friends :3

(plus he's an Actual Adult even though he doesn't always act it, he's a music nerd so they're both artsy, and he can totally relate to having the worst family history and putting on a face for everyone else)

They can bond over music tastes. Magilou personally is into a lot of weird rock stuff. Like, big Mars volta fan.

But yeah totally wouldn't mind them being friends at all. Sounds cool with me.

Shouto had an acting teacher before he started to get into television and movies as bit roles! They could know each other from that?

He's an incredibly bitter child over his father's... everything, but he throws himself wholeheartedly into his acting work.

Shouto's also surprisingly socially awkward for an actor, but real life doesn't have a script.

Well, looks like they have some common ground with daddy issues and mutual social awkwardness.

Though Magilou hides her social failings through the wonders of comedy.

THAT SAID - Ari hangs out with the theater department of Recolle U so much she might actually be considered part of it. She does a lot of work benefiting it and the community theater in general, and just plain helping out with admin/funding etc since she wants to make Recolle into Broadway. She looooves theater people so I imagine she'd end up knowing Magilou through that.

I'm not sure exactly how well they'd get along considering Magilou's trollish nature, but Ari is good at playing nice. Could end up being a sort of 'poke her and see what makes her tick' sort of deal lol. I promise she won't hate Magilou for it but she might make a lot of very doe eyed frowning faces.


I also play Sorey but he's never been near a theater in his life, unfortunately. (He's a bartender and student teacher.) If Lailah and Magilou know each other, though, that might help? Since he's been attached to Lailah's son since the day they freaking moved in.

Yeah, they would probably get along when it comes to theater stuff. But as for the trolling issue, Magilou will probably not be actively that harsh on her, because in general she doesn't try to actively hurt people, just rile them up. So yeah she'd probably just poke a bit, nothing too bad.

And yeah, she probably ran into Sorey maybe a few times? I don't think they would be particularly close but at least they would be like, acquainted or something.

That's good to know! At the same time, it'd be okay if she's sharp around the edges, because Ari does act a little bit like a princess sometimes!

On the other hand... she also really enjoys stupid thrillseeking shit like rollercoasters and ziplines. They could have a lot of fun with that. make her do tightrope walking she'd love it

Mikleo probably knows her through Lailah, but he's also taken ballet classes. He continues them in the summer, mostly, since he doesn't do courses during that time. He's not quite that bad, basically. It's possible he's sat in on one of Magilou's courses for stage direction and whatnot?

Makes sense they met through her. She probably ruthlessly teased him throughout his teenage years. Also probably holds a bunch of embarrassing stories about him, aka perfect blackmail material. So uh, rip.

But nah she's probably pretty fond of him in all honesty. Maybe is a bit sisterly towards him, though she's Magilou so if she does care she probably never really shows it too openly.

Yeah, he definitely could have sat in. She wouldn't mind.

GOD...he'd try to sass back but this is Mikleo. he's the easiest target of them all. he's also gonna bristle so much if Magilou tells any of those embarrassing stories like omg.

OH NO I LOVE IT Mikleo will just be her tsun little brother, too. Possibly sends her tasty treats for special occasions.

I mean, she probably doesn't do it actively. Probably scouts out people there though. So they might've run into each other.

So, on a scale of 1 to Felix (RvB), how much does Magi need someone to reel her in/criticize her? Because I can totally see Kasen/Kath having to do that kind of stuff for Magilou.

Also she really needs a drinking buddy/someone to walk her home if she gets too plastered.
