AU OCCUPATION: Second year university student, interns as an assistant to youth leader/coordinators for a local Recolle community organization
BLURB:

• his family moved here from Japan. family consists of a mother, two older siblings, and a younger one. father passed away due to an accident.
• his family owns a Japanese bakery. he works here when not attending classes/internship.
• he used to be part of the National Field Archery Association, but resigned to help his family with finance.
• he's a friendless loser like canon intended.
• his other hobbies include mostly mobile games. he doesn't have a lot of time to just... be on the computer or dabble in the console territory.
he doesn't have crippling self-esteem, but it's still there. like his ego.
• He has a pomeranian named Momo, short for Montaro.
• he's still a nerd who is good at school. history isn't his favorite subject (yet). i think. I'M NOT SURE YET.

LOOKING FOR: online friends, delinquents/problem children, people that even go to these youth programs or events they host, regular customers to the family bakery... spontaneous people to drag him out of his busybody life. i'm fine with exes that he didn't have time for, too! archery... buddies. do people even do that. teachers, teacher's aides are cool, too! he's a good student, still.

Sorey's also half Japanese and speaks the language (bad at kanji, tho)-- not sure if that's something they could bond over or what.

i'd also want them to be uni classmates! they shouldn't be too close for now (since izumi here is a part-time model and therefore too busy to have friends blah-blah), but he could always bug takumi for notes and shit for class lol

second of all, Minako is heavily involved with ReVA which is the acronym I made up for the Recolle Volunteer's Association...so they could totally know of each other, or if you'd be interested, he could even be interning under her! She only just turned 21 and is also a second year at RU but ReVA is pretty much the half of her life that isn't school or work so

chiyo could be a regular at his family's bakery! she'd ask after momo a lot because that's the most important. she'd also ask how his internship was going and tell him how great he is for helping people like that.

Okay! So I actually am considering apping this dorky Lord. But I'm not sure how to have them know one another yet because I'm aging him up pretty significantly. And me apping him is tentative ATM anyway. But if I do, maybe Chrom's a regular at the bakery.

What I can offer instead would be a fellow college student in Penelo from FFXII (mincingminuet) who I already have in the game. She's a student at Recolle U and is a few years older, but with a friendly streak a mile wide. She's the kind of person who'd stick up for him, and push him. Also give him some real grief for being a total nerd if he needs it.

And perhaps most relevantly, she is a YouTuber with a pretty decent sized fanbase who regularly communicates with and makes online friends.

Hello hello!

Make this Ylissian #2 who frequents the bakery. Robin's going to actually be a vegetarian in this AU, so finding food he can grab on the fly that fits his needs is going to be a wonderful thing.

....Robin will also be working in the local libraries if Takumi ever ends up there for his studies. More likely than not he'll be reading the books he's supposed to be working on-- particularly the history books or the trashy fiction.

I feel obligated to slide Yato here because Yato... He's not a sword but he likes swords and also bread is good cheap value so he'll probably drop by Takumi's bakery a lot!! He'd probably try to fix an arrangement where he can buy day-old bread for cheap... how would Takumi/his family feel about that?! He's a bum, wears the same dumb tracksuit every day, and will absolutely ham it up to garner pity for the sake of the deal so. However far that takes him, he'll take every inch lmao

i'm planning on bringing mafuyu (oresama teacher) into the game so i can play out her delinquent life, and she'll probably be heckled by her teachers or parents or whatever to attend these youth programs sometimes!

Marcell would be a more recent resident (2 months or so) but he probably quickly became a regular at the bakery.

And buys way more than you'd expect a skinny guy like him to, but mostly because he buys for his whole family.
