AU NAME: Cherche Stillworkingonlastname (Suggestions are appreciated.)
AU AGE: Haven't decided, but probably in her thirties?
AU OCCUPATION: Housewife who has recently re-entered the workforce. Perhaps as a home ec teacher?
BLURB:
-Middle class background, a good girl who was always getting good grades and was polite to her elders.
-Married right out of college, started a family right away.
-Perfectly happy being a home maker.
-But suddenly had to be the breadwinner. Either her husband died, there was a divorce, or maybe he just lost his job and now she has to provide for the family.
-What I'm going for here is someone suddenly having to handle a lot of extra responsibility and finding out that not only can they handle it, but that they thrive in it.
-And then getting back a bunch of memories about being a BAMF who has a wyvern and fights zombies with an axe.
-And also still being a slightly over bearing mom.
-Even to people who aren't her kids.
-My ideas are weird.
LOOKING FOR: KIDS. I would definitely be willing to tweak the backstory in various ways for the sake of her getting pc children.
I am also open to all kinds of suggestions. Obviously this is a really rough outline and there's a lot I haven't decided on.
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: Also considering Lann from World of Final Fantasy.

I'm sorry I have nothing else of worth to contribute except if Cherche's a homemaker and would be involved in the community, then maybe she's seen Minako around? She works a lot with the city volunteer association.

Cherche would definitely get involved in community things. She's the type to meddle very politely in everyone's affairs. She's probably the most annoying mom in the PTA too....

And if she's seen Minako around you can bet she always asks how she's been and whether she's been eating enough. And it's supposed to rain today did she bring an umbrella?

Cherche is like the one mom Minako can count on to help out at events when everything is just a sea of chaos probably

also THAT WOULD BE WONDERFUL...Minako's parents died in a Tragic Car Accident so she hasn't been mothered in a long time, it would be nice of Cherche to be concerned for her like that ;u;

Yata is 20? 21? and I need an AU mother for him like burning (his father is a police officer who died on the job).

But if you feel he's too old or you're not feeling that angle, I can always have him be her former home ec student! He'd have been one of her star students, too. Even if he was... Super loud and getting into fights... Then he grew up to be a policeman... yes.

Omg that would be great! I would definitely be willing to tweak her backstory to line up with that. And she would be so proud of her son following in his father's footsteps. But also worried.

And probably stops by the precinct with trays of brownies and cookies. Which is something she probably did when his dad was alive anyway.

Ignore the account but yes. Yes. He'd groan and be so embarrassed like MOM but he always tries to get more cookies than he should. He's a good son otherwise I swear.

In my original plan, I was going to have him be the eldest child but I'm willing to tweak his story and make him an only child in this case. He also would have wanted to help Cherche with housework in any way he could, so I'm thinking she taught him how to cook and clean? And of course, she has every right to call him Misaki. (Thank god no one's told him it's a girl's name......)

ALSO ALSO I was thinking of keeping his last name Yata because his dad is practically his hero and he wants to immortalize that in his name but!! You don't have to conform to that since I don't want to step on any toes.

Hi! All good options and I might use one as her maiden name.

I haven't decided completely on her job yet. But it'll definitely have something to do with cooking or sewing. If not teaching home ec, then maybe working at a bakery or as a tailor or something.

What's Robin up to in this au?

Like I said; Robin's in the middle of changing careers. He recently stepped down from his position as a military chaplain in an overseas medical unit (think M.A.S.H), and he's shifting toward work in religious archives and partnering with local libraries.

Much of his personality remains the same as it is in canon, though.....so he ends up borrowing most of the stuff he's supposed to be putting away.

Single mom! Reigen is really recently a single dad (adoptively) so he probably definitely sought out advice from any neighbors/other parents at the PTA meetings about being a single parent. Y/N to Reigen bugging Cherche when he doesn't know how to parent properly?

Oh she would have so much advice for him. Also casseroles. Because she'd be worried about them eating properly.

NOT FAR FROM THE MARK... Reigen mostly eats decently since he's a little snobby with some food but undoubtedly he can't cook as well as he can nitpick.

I'm not 100% sure I'm apping Chrom *this* round, but if I do, I'd love for them to already know one another. Chrom's in a similar situation, having left the military and taken up a job as a massage therapist. Maybe a friend or a client.

And if you do go with Lann, I can definitely offer CR of some sort with Penelo (who I already have in game)

We should definitely work out a way for them to have known each other. That will make memory regains much funnier. And when he gets back a sword and she gets back a giant axe, they can spar. Because that would naturally go well.

AU AGE: Late thirties.
AU OCCUPATION: Housewife who re-entered the workforce after her husband died. Now she's a home-ec teacher at the high school.

-Married her sweetheart right out of high school, started a family right away.
-Perfectly happy being a home maker.
-Husband was a police officer who died several years ago in the line of duty.
-This left her with the responsibility of providing for her family.
-She got a job teaching home ec at the high school, a subject she excels at.
-Cherche is one of the nicest and toughest teachers all at the same time. She expects a lot out of her students.
-She's also extremely active in the PTA and various local projects. Is there such a thing as cub scouts here because she would totally be a den mother.
-Speaking of which she tends to bring trays of cookies or brownies to the police station a few times a week. Something she's been doing for years.
-Meanwhile her oldest son became a police officer just like his father was and she could not be prouder of her baby. He will always be her baby no matter how old he gets.
-But she still worries. You other officers are looking after him, right?
-Even when she's angry she's always polite. Actually that polite smile when she's angry tends to be a little intimidating.
-And she tends to aggressively mother people.
-Even people who aren't her kids.
-While she is an absolute expert with all kinds of domestic tasks, Cherche is bad with technology. Seriously she's one of those moms who asks her kids for help every time she uses facebook. Wait until she gets retrospec.
-She also has a really weird sense of aesthetics. She thinks bugs and lizards are just adorable and she even collects things with gargoyles on them. Because aren't their smushy little angry faces just so cute~?
LOOKING FOR: Still room for more kids. She needs more little ones to dote on and Misaki needs younger siblings. Come join their crazy family!
Cops! Her husband was a good cop who died in the line of duty four years ago. The culprit was never caught. Anyone on the force at that time probably remembers him. Maybe he had a partner? Maybe a rival? Either way she also tend to stop by the precinct regularly with food and encouragement.
Fellow teachers and Students? She teaches home ec at the high school. And has high expectations for both her students and her colleagues.
I am also open to all kinds of suggestions. Got a crazy idea? I love crazy ideas!

hello hello! so i talked to mao's player and since he and mao are neighbors, i'd like to have izumi mizuki here as a family friend if that's all right? as i mentioned before, his parents are often out of town and while he can take care of himself (he's used to it), maybe he'd drop by the household for an overnight stay or two?

also he's very distant from his parents so he'd need another mother figure in his life, weh

Not a cop, but Tatsuo has been part of the crime lab for seven years, so he'd have bumped into her husband during his first three years and would remember his death.

And as he can't cook without a damn, he would have always appreciated any munchies.
