chiyo isn't the most avid comic reader, but they could know each other from levy's job? she does look for new seies every few months. she'd ask for levy's recommendations because otherwise she just buys the series with the most appealing art style to her.

yu can absolutely be his tutor! designer kanji would be a pretty good student overall, but his internship probably gets in the way sometimes and he would need help... which subjects does yu tutor in

BLURB:
- Born and raised in Finland, her parents died in an accident when she was fairly young. She and her older brother moved in with her aunt and uncle until she moved to Recolle for university.
- Though she is mad adventurous and always wanted to ~see the world~ her older brother was HARDCORE OVERPROTECTIVE to the point where she decided to go to university abroad purely so she could live her own life, god. She definitely did not bring this possibility up until she was already accepted at RU. She still skypes him like every day like a good little sister if only he were real.
- She is a freshman and studying either history, sociology, linguistics, maybe biology? Maybe she doesn’t know yet either! Maybe she’s in every class.
- Fluent in Finnish, Swedish, and English, also has some intermediate language skills in some fourth language because she’s that sort of overachiever (probably Russian or French???)
- Talkative, outgoing, huuuuuge nerd. Kind of a micromanager. She gets pretty bossy once she gets comfortable with people. Also she likes cats!
- Probably does all of her schoolwork in a coffeeshop somewhere, is the person you don’t want sitting next to you in the library because she’ll keep trying to engage you in conversation the night before the midterm.

Because I'm not creative, Pen's last name is Raban, like Rabanaster. Since in medieval times people's surname often was their place of origin or home city or where they worked and Penelo doesn't get a last name in canon.

So if they're related bam, that's the surname
