Kiyru, please. She's 13 not 3. She's fairly low maintenance...especially since she'll spend most of her time trying to not ask for too many things (she has some idea that older brothers are suppose to take care of little sisters but she doesn't want to be a pest. HOW MUCH ATTENTION CAN SHE ASK FOR?)

In that case, they've probably had minimal to no contact prior to Yuuri's mom separating with their dad. Or, until now really. She's probably spent all this time imagining what he'd be like though. (I haven't quite figured out what she thought he'd be like. It probably changed from time to time as she grew up.)

Heh, Chloe is younger and probably gets carded often, but she has good fake IDs and avoids bars where people would easily recognize her (who would Narc on her). She's from France, where the legal age is a lot younger, so she tends to think US Laws are stupid on a lot of levels even if she's become a citizen here.

Either way, they could easily have run into each other at the bars.

♫ Rich girl from Japan. Her father runs a hospital and her mother is a highly successful doctor.
♫ Had a few friends in high school that she (probably?) lost touch with, but was generally a bit anti-social. Spent most of her time alone in the music room playing piano.
♫ After high school, came to Recolle (and therefore America) on a scholarship to Recolle U.
♫ Her parents were hoping for somewhere even more prestigious, like Harvard, and blamed her hobby. There was an argument, but they still send her money. Maki figures she took it more personally than they did.
♫ Lives in the dorms, since it's more convenient.
♫ Still a bit of a loner, but without much of the piano part - studies keep her busy, and what happened with her parents was enough to put her off it.
♫ That said, she loves music so much that she still finds time to at least go out to concerts and bars with live music and such.
♫ Stubborn, socially awkward rich girl. Easy to mess with and draw into dumb arguments.
♫ Generally likes people, though, she's just kind of awkward about how to approach them. She tries to put up a barrier so she doesn't have to talk to people much, especially since she figures she'll be heading back to Japan once she graduates, but it's about as much of a wall as a sheet of bubblewrap.
♫ Enough of a hipster that she buys a lot of records. Will absolutely say that 'the sound feels more real,' compared to an MP3 or CD.
♫ Found out Santa wasn't real when she was 17.
LOOKING FOR:

♫ Music buddies. People that play, people that just like it, anyone she can talk to about it.
♫ Other rich kids. When did you find out Santa wasn't real?
♫ Younger friends. Maki's got a bit of a protective/caring streak in her, so despite her best efforts she'd absolutely pick up some younger sibling types. She just can't say no to a cute face, basically.
♫ Doctors/nurses/other medical professions. Maki's passion might be music, but she genuinely likes the medical field, too. It'd be nice to have some professionals she could look up to.
♫ College friends. Especially ones that'd drag her out to parties and/or 3 am Taco Bell trips.
♫ People to argue/banter with. Could also fit into one of the other categories, but yeah! Maki's stubborn and a little sheltered, but also very smart, so it'd be easy for her to get into a lovingly(?) antagonistic relationship. She's mostly never mean, but she can banter with the best of them.

Oh man I love Yuffie -- she's welcome to work for Majima if you need to get her a side job (he's got a hostess club she could be a bartender there or you anything -- but if she's a host he'd buy her shiny stuff all the time just fyi) but also like more generally w/her kleptomania she could've tried to steal from him once even just on the street (people attack you on the street all the time in yakuza this is #aesthetic) and they could just be #grudge at each other for over it or some other random shenanigan? I'm here for shenanigans

Oh my gosh, I would love that. It happened in his old town, but I gave it some thought and checked Ursula's workshop post, and I think I have an idea! Let me know how it sounds to you because I've love the idea of him having a concerned teacher in Recolle?

Maybe Ursula was substituting in Yukine's old school (until she got a more permanent placement?) and was extra willing to vouch for Yukine after the incident because she was leaving soon to a job in Recolle. Coincidentally he ends up back in a school and class with her after he moves. Oops.

Or alternatively, she could be another overly concerned teacher (outside of the one he had in his own town) after hearing the swirl of rumours about him? Since there's no doubt that isn't well known and he isn't marked for being a problem child with temper problems.

Please bully him and help him get onto the right path.
