AU WORKSHOP - APRIL Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! - has led a very ordinary life surrounded by her loving family.
- very outgoing and cheerful and friendly!!! but can also be shy and self depreciating.
- grew up overseas, but her parents have moved to Recolle for work! She's got her business mom, her little baby brother, and her stay at home dad! She's probably been in town for a couple months, tops.
- largely bc of her mother, she super admires powerful women... they r so cool...
- wants to join a club or get a job but is too indecisive so far.
- is very VERY EASILY SWAYED by other people. constantly seeks advice before making decisions. is easily pulled along by other people.
- Madoka can do role reversal on that if someone more-shy-than-her needs it. if someone is in need of a friend to push them out of their comfort zone, she'll take the wheel right back!!
- she likes doing Generic Teen Things™ like hanging out at the mall and going to cute cafes.
- only averagely good at most things
- really likes drawing. (not very good at drawing.)
- is a very modern-age girl from a middle class family, so is familiar with using technology but isn't enough of a smarty-pants to understand how it works. doesn't understand meme culture, but probably keeps a blog with doodles and photos of her neighbor's dogs and stuff.

LOOKING FOR: friends!! Even though Madoka is very friendly and sociable, that means she has a lot of people who she's friendly with but not necessarily... Friends? with? So it would be nice if she had some people she's gotten more familiar with!
Other middle schoolers in general. Classmates!!!!! Study group! Lunch-buddies! Awkwardly make eye contact in the halls but don't remember each other's names friends!!
... Anyone!!
Blogger friends would be cute.....
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: I've been waffling between a hundo characters. But other maybes were Clementine from TWD (main concern is that she's SO shaped by her environment that AUing it up is rough.) or Annie from Atelier Annie.

A place to sell things would be good, he should at least sometimes try not to be obvious about it. As far as the $$ goes he doesn't care about it much (makes a good salary as is) so he'd be more than willing to cut a generous deal :).

I am so glad to hear someone else has played Yakuza tbh there's no real proper way to describe "my character does all this serious shit" and "also my character would definitely hire a chicken as a real estate manager and teach a dominatrix how to do her job" without sounding completely bonkers..... which I mean, is fair, but also Yakuza.

Yeah I think so! There are conferences and literature, or maybe something like Johnny's heard that Alex isn't opposed to treating those in the underworld if they're that desperate.

I'm cool with having them know each other through Tyler if you are! I think it's too convenient to waste, especially since Fai's always busy with work and school. He's going to tease and mess around with Tyler because he loves to try to cheer up grumpy people, maybe he and Annie realized at that point how similar they are and hit it off?

I was also like two seconds from saying "what if working at the club" but a 16yo salt mine with often poor social skills would probably not be a good idea there. But I'll take dad 4 lyfe happily and enthusiastically.

Yakuza is just. Yakuza. I feel like "bonkers" is probably the best descriptor you could ever give it without getting into just what makes it bonkers. Trust us on this when we say that everything is crazy.

Kiryu will keep the salty children in line while Majima gets the sweet ones, that sounds about right... honestly, Kiryu's the type to volunteer and help people so he could easily have been doing some outreach for kids thing and voila there you have it

Okay now that I've got that yelling out of the way, Koushuu here is the same age as Kon but is also an AP-level student if you wanted some tutorship there. He'll be ... very unimpressed at large by his shenanigans, so he'd keep them pretty on task there.

Or, well, half-French - I haven't decided what Koushuu's mother was in the AU setting just yet but I'm leaning on French, so if you ever wanted to chat somebody up in your home language, Fai.
