Mmmmm I toned down his bitterness and anger a lot just to make him playable so that when he regained his memories it'd be a question of if he'd still feel justified by what he did or if he'd be like "well wait no" especially since canonically at the end it's questionable if he regrets what happened at all. Unintentionally I had him change his path at 19 (canonically he leaves CHB to join Kronos, AU he drops out of college and works for the bar) but I wanted to include like his breaking and entering thing for example and had to remove it because then he was just starting to get ridiculous.

LUKE OVERALL IS KIND OF EXTRA so I had to dial back a LOT because it didn't fit how I wanted him to start, which is at a Decent place and slowly deteriorating to see which way he sways especially given the canonmates he has in game

there are a few big regains i can't wait to get - memregain wise, there's the fight with jack that ended up with jade killing dave by accident at the top of my list, but i'm also curious about getting back the three year journey she did by herself, and poooootentially grimbark, if that'll check out. the latter of which is something i'm particularly interested in due to who jade's mom is in game, aaahaha. item wise i really cannot wait to get back a few things but her lunchtop is at the top of my list, and the wardrobifier, if i can swing it. powers and appearance wise, i've mentioned her dog features (they're too cute not to...) but i cannot wait to get her eyes back. judging by how magnified her eyes are when she wears them, they're a heavy prescription, and none of her cr who has gotten their eyes back have had any problems with their vision. i can't wait to be bad.

but other that that i have a big interest in her teleportation just because the shenanigans that can ensue are. excellent. space powers are op, but i just want to use them for silly things at the moment, ahaha. THIS IS A LOT. i apologize.

Recolle AU Yuuko says she's a realist, but she has this crazy idea that getting her kind, loving, handsome and loyal Prince Charming will fill the empty space in her heart and get rid of her loneliness and abandonment issues. And the excitement and mystery that comes with romance is definitely a welcome distraction from all her problems, lmfao

So I guess she's more in love with the idea of romance than, say, Mikoto. Whoops.

Off the top of my head, I loved all of his threads in the bar crawl log. Him being dared (by Grell) to serenade someone (...Grell) was definitely v. hilarious.

As for hope to do: Something I never got to address in what I would consider a natural state in Amat (due to the rampant sex events and mind-fuckery involved with some of them) was a relatively sane and normal Chloe coping with the question, deep down, of whether or not Altena was someone worthy of her obedience, whether she was right to be the person she was, or if there was an alternative.

I think this is a better setting for that than Amat proved to be. For obvious reasons I imagine.

Chloe is an old muse of mine that I let rest outside of a few smaller games for several years. My original choice of her had to do with wanting a villainous character that was not immediately unlikeable but capable, at least with event prompting of the types of scenes I desired.

Here, I'm wanting to explore the psychology of what she became in canon more and get into the heart of her little, personal fantasy world as it crumbles, and see if she chooses a new life, accepts her original fate or somehow rebels and defies it all as she did in Amat.

I like head games a lot deep down. Chloe's kind of a labyrinth at times, for as simple a girl as she can be.

Oh man I'm gonna try not to tldr here. The short answer is that Togusa's my favorite. Even when I saw the original movie as a kid, I was very curious about a guy who would be non-cybernetic in a cyborg special ops unit. And then SAC hit, and right from the first episode, we see Togusa's role in the team, how critical he is to what they do. He's still got the human connectedness with the outside world. While the Major is usually very data-driven, he's going and physically re-looking at crime scenes, trying to think of people's perspectives. He's still very grounded in the real world (Hey, Togusa, that's the answer to the question you asked the Major about why you're on the team that she always avoids.)

And they couldn't have cracked the Laughing Man case without him. They needed somebody else who valued information off the net, or things that can't be reproduced digitally. Also, god damn is he a smartass sometimes. I also really like his perspective on his own skills, as a detective, and with a firearm. He'd never upgrade. He's got a lot of reasons why, but it means he wants to make sure his skill is on par with his teammates, who are sort of cheating. That idea of physical development and pushing yourself to be better appeals to me a lot.

So what's something you're looking forward to doing with Ryoga?

that's pretty fair - i played the main character of gatchaman crowds for a year and found out pretty quickly that the amount of activity i needed to keep her ic was demanding, to say the least lmao...

Probably- I definitely want her to lose her heart again at some point, and without that there won't be much holding her back from giving in to her darker impulses!
Though the power of friendship is a major thing in KH so who knows what could happen depending on the CR that forms between now and then. Especially since the mods already confirmed that growing a heart back is a regainable ability.

honestly I want to see how he's going to handle the knowledge he's dead and the circumstances surrounding his death. I'm also hoping to get him to a place where he can logically think through what he did in his canon and see if he calls his younger/past self a moron or if he decides nah he was 100% right.

game-wise I want him to make more adult friends good lord. but I'd also like to get him to at least celebrate his 24th birthday :')

HAHAHAH OH MAN. Honestly? I haven't fully thought out the details yet because I want to save him getting an arm for awhile and instead opting to give him other stuff first (his pet golem, his cursed eye, etc etc).

I do know that when he does get it, it's probably going to be awhile before he's able to use it fully. Since in canon, after it initially activates, he actually has to undergo months to a year of physical therapy just to use it as a regular hand - and then after that it took longer still to learn how to use it as a powered weapon. THUS I imagine it's going to be the same case for Noah, since he too is going to have to learn how to function with a second hand and then work on the powers part of it.

As for his emotional state...honestly it very much depends on his development at that point when the time comes. Eventually I'm sure he'll grow to accept it because it is part of who he is, but it might take awhile because yeah. suddenly weird to wake up with a new limb when you've spend 16 years without one.

I'm mostly canon blind to P3 (I've only played p4), but how will Ryoji handle learning he's the personification of death?

LAUGHS twin came in here first, but that's about it! narukami was their father's name and souji's "original" surname before the divorce so if we did have to stick to one surname, it'd make more sense for it to be narukami. it wouldn't make much sense for yu to take on seta after the divorce, with seta being their mother's name

though in our original twin au (loooong before recolle), we had the twins have their own respective canon last names! so souji seta and yu narukami. we've just decided to have it the same one here in the game so it'd be more obvious that they're twins (and also because of other plans we have, laughs)

but! what regain are you most excited for ryoji to get? do you think you'll get it anytime soon or are you waiting for the right moment?

IIRC it's also nice to have a detective who can't be sightjacked 8|. That's something that will become a problem in real life if all these pie in the sky dreams of cyborgs actually comes true.

I enjoy writing action/comedy, and one of the nice things about Ryoga is that he lends himself well to exactly that, being as how he's from a martial arts romcom. So any chance for fate to conspire against him and subject him to some bullshit is fun, as are chances to mirror some of the stuff he used to get into in canon.

So for example, he's recently gotten caught in a ladies' changing room with Joshua/Jesus, gotten into an idiotic internet fight with Noah/Allen and ended up planning to wreck cars together at a junkyard with his new superstrength, and started discussing his romantic dreams with a cute girl.

But what I'm really looking forward to is the dumpster fire.
