Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

AU NAME: Sakura Kinomoto (not changing her name for au.)
AU AGE: Fourteen.
AU OCCUPATION: High school student. Also dancer/cheerleader/bakery assistant
BLURB:

Mostly keeping fairly similar to her original app.

AU HISTORY:

- Still born on April 1st.
- Moved to Recolle from Japan with her father's work a few years later, given an offer to lecture at a university overseas.
-Family includes/included her father (archaeologist and lecturer at the university, died mid last year in an accident) and older brother who is at university.
- Mother was ill and died when she was very young. Sakura thus doesn't actually remember her besides seeing photos and hearing about her mother from her father and older brother.
- Adopted by Fai and Iwai who are now npc status.
- Along with the money left by their parents, Sakura decides to help out by finding a job of her own that she could do around her own studies, finding herself a job.
- At first, this started as a paper run, and then ended up helping at a small bakery, though she isn't paid much given her age, it's still something for her afternoons once she finishes her classes. She got the job through asking around and a friend of her brother's mentioned they needed a hand there washing dishes/serving customers their food one day when Sakura stopped by to get something on the way home from school.
- Very close with her brother. Which makes it easier for her to initially gripe over his usual teasing and quickly move on from it to whatever else gets her attention in the moment. This is likely due to him having stepped up with their father to help care for Sakura, her brother being rather protective of her as a result in spite of him never missing a chance to poke fun at her.
- Still occasionally lapses to Japanese when she doesn't know the English word/phrase for something out of habit. Adjusting to the language barrier has been a struggle in some ways, though she at least knew some basic English from school back in Japan before moving. Being immersed in the language has helped her pick up on it, plus how young she was when she initially moved.

But some smaller additions this time around such as.

- Sakura being more keen on dancing/modeling/fashion this time around as a result of her npc best friend taking so many photos of her with her sewing classes, and Sakura's taking dance classes (I'm thinking prob ballet?) to try help with her occasional clumsy moments in improving her coordination along with her being generally physically active and athletic.

Possibly more as I think on this for potential tweaks/additions before submitting the app/from feedback here in reapping her again.

LOOKING FOR:

New high school students/teachers cr? Now she is moving up from middle school, that would make sense to have some new cr in the academic side of things.
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME:

I know I'm probably putting a couple others also on the test drive/fourth wall but Sakura is def the one I'm apping back in. Still, I'd be thrilled for more CCS/CLAMP in general! Give me her Guardians, give me Meiling, give me Eriol, or even Tomoyo. Or characters from other CLAMP series like Tsubasa, xxxHolic.

Look these two are destined to be together. But yes. Yes, considering the whole thing this month with the player turned npcs. I am sure he will.

She should be! I mean I'm gonna go over her app again and maybe edit it a little but. For the most part. I'm ready to bring her back. Even if she might ???? at things because this is strange with the whole other au thing with her being Derek's sister.

Derek's going to slightly remember Sakura being his "sister" so He's going to be relieved to see her again!

I'm not taking away her memories, so she'll mostly remember stuff that went down? More or less. Just will need to save all the points again towards her regains. I figure I can regain her memories quick enough with others chatting to her about things around Recolle, esp Xiaolang in what he remembers at least from canon too.

But def I wanna keep poking you for their cr. It's cute.

Sakura's life. lbr there were Reasons I went with her npc bestie throwing clothes at her and it is because she needs some form of Tomoyo in her life regardless of npc status. Honestly.

i mean, yeah. sakura's just not sakura if she isn't getting forced into various costumes!

Basically. Yeah. I had to figure that in somehow even without Tomoyo actually being apped. And well. The dancing is also just another reason/excuse on top of that really, lol. /flashbacks to my own dance concerts growing up. Yup.

VERY true. recitals are the perfect reason to stick someone in costumes... i'm also having flashbacks

She is! Hopefully. May ain't getting rid of her so easily.

i'm not sure yet who i'll app between sun jing and ishikawa buuuut if i go with ishikawa, he's got a massive sweet tooth and will probably haunt the bakery sakura works at! he's also interested in baking in general, so there's that :B

Sakura's working there is great for cr honestly. And it fits because in canon she loves cooking/baking in school and at home. So yes this could totally work if you wanted to go with him being a regular there.

(Yes. Please. I would love a Meiling. Even if it would be sad Sakura is manga canon so wouldn't remember her. I just love their dynamic and how their relationship develops over time esp with Clear Card now.)

Haa, aw. And now I wonder how many people claim her as a sort of adoptive sister at this point because. Honestly. Among all her cr.

(She is! I was so pleased. I'd missed her and she has some great development even in the Clear Card arc and that time skip with how she's matured. It's so good for her.)

♥ these two. It'll be cute. Like. You know, pre-Yue reveal in canon and all.

He will look after her just like he did then too. Part of the "protect Sakura squad". Though if Touya and Sakura aren't living together, Yuki won't have as many reasons to stop by and share a meal with her.

I kinda had Fai and Iwai adopt both of them even if it was mostly for Fai's cr with Sakura in particular. So Touya would live with them unless he moved to campus or something during uni semester or something.

Also Yuki and food bills though.....
