AU WORKSHOP - MARCH Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. omg i love gekkan shoujo and chiyo so much... yes.... A SHOUJO GIRL AFTER MAKOTO'S OWN HEART and I love the idea of co-workers aka chiyo cutting in right before Makoto almost strangles a customer with a bouquet ribbon. Not that Makoto will do that... often, of course?? She'll at least be immediately shame-faced as soon as Chiyo intervenes.

They could be acquaintances at first and slowly become great friends because all Makoto wants in this au life is to be friends with a cute girl like Chiyo help

DELINQUENT MAKO. I AM SO HERE FOR THIS.

Kamui here is about her age and was also a terrible delinquent in middle school before assaulting a classmate his freshman year of high school (right in the middle of class, hahasob) and getting sent to juvie for a year. He's still a terrible person, but he's not a member of any specific gang anymore and no longer pick fights unless the other person WANTS to duke it out. He could have potentially helped her out after she was beat up by her former gang, taken her to a backalley doctor he knows. Because Kamui is a terrible person, yes, but he adores strong people, and he'd admire her for facing her gang.

Also, he eats like a shounen hero, so. Anyone who bakes is his favorite person.

Okay but no lie, I was legit thinking to myself earlier today 'it would be really cute if we got a Makoto in-game, since she and Syaoran would bond so much over being punch happy magical kids' and HERE WE ARE, IT'S A SIGN

But OH MY GOD, so many people have cursed around him at this point he's just..... pointedly ignores it by now, but YES. BE THE GOOD BIG SISTER TOWARDS HIM?? Show him that not all older sisters have to be annoying and clingy and all up in his business-- although now I just... imagine him taking Sakura to where Mako works all 'yeah, there's this nice lady there who gives me free ice cream' and Mako's like 'ooooohhh so you brought your girlfriend this time around, huh? ;)' and he just....... immediately turns around to leave and SCREAM

And he is, technically!!! Right now he's an orange belt in karate (so EEEEYYYYY POTENTIAL REGAINS FOR MAKO), and he's been... doing all manners of sword-training ever since he got his sword back, but I am looking to have him get back his martial arts proficiency at some point soon?? SO MAYBE THEY CAN SPAR AND SHE CAN HELP HIM GET BETTER AT IT??? He already has Kuro as a karate senpai at his dojo but THERE IS ROOM IN MY HEART FOR MANY MORE SENPAIS......

actually wait like-- maybe depending on when Makoto moved to Recolle, maybe her protecting him from bullies inspired him to join karate in the first place???? He moved to the city from Hong Kong about a year and a half ago so idk what your timeline is exactly for her but THE IDEA IS SUPER CUTE AND I CAN'T LET GO OF IT

and GOD. GOD!!!! I REALLY, REALLY WANT TO??? I'm just a little iffy whether I'll have time to balance two characters at once, but........ NNNNGHHH. ALL THE ATTRACTIVE PEOPLE FOR THEM TO FOLLOW. Their backgrounds are actually rather similar compartively and their around the same age so I think she and Stella would get on well? She'd take the side of Elizabeth's siblings though because education is important!!!!

YES PLEASE I love this entire idea so much. Maybe Makoto could have been like aware of his reputation (i don't think her gang would have challenged him though since they were more of girls who gang up on hapless citizens and students not Kamui who can BEAT THEM ALL, but definitely aware of him thanks to delinquent social circles). She would have been extremely grateful for his help honestly especially taking her to a discreet doctor since her parents would have flipped to know that she landed herself in a hospital

HONESTLY THAT'S ENOUGH FOR HER TO BAKE FOR HIM, she operates on a sort of Thug Honor code -- you have to pay back good deeds okay and also she'd appreciate the fact that he'll just eat them and not make fun of her for baking anything.... friendship levels up every time kamui eats a scone

chiyo will 100% try to intervene before it's too late because she wants makoto to keep her job (and also to keep the customer safe). she knows makoto is a good person underneath it all. that she expresses some regret afterwards is proof!
