AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. BLURB:

• Your friendly neighborhood mailman! He hasn't been on the job for long, but he sure tries hard.
• Not actually super friendly though because he's got Resting Mission Face and has recently returned to Recolle from four years of active-duty service in the Marine Corps.
• Won't talk about his service unless asked, but he was a Fire Support Marine (MOS 0861), a.k.a. Forward Observer tasked with directing artillery fire.
• Conducts his postal work with much the same seriousness and determination as his military work. His uniform is neatly ironed and impeccable every day, and (for some reason idk maybe it's a family heirloom lmao) he wears one of those vintage mailman peaked caps that just kind of makes him look more severe and official.
• "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." Takes the post office motto Extremely Seriously. More dedicated to the successful delivery of the mail than anyone really ought to be.
• His eyebrows are perpetually furrowed. Even when he happens to smile, his eyebrows are furrowed. His face isn't the most kid-friendly, or even friendly. He's probably not angry, though. Just weirdly determined.
• Actually very idealistic and believes in the power of words. Prefers to talk problems out and implores others to do the same. Has a hard time swallowing injustice. Easily trusts people who seem well-intentioned. Annoyed by people who seem duplicitous.
• Says exactly what he's thinking without fear and thinks everyone else should too. Very blunt. Probably too blunt. Also super honest, honorable, and sincere. Don't trust him with any secrets because he'll find a way to accidentally spill them.
• Probably born and raised in Recolle? Went to Recolle High???
• Has no hobbies. Probably has a pitiful number of non-military friends, if any. Never dated. Needs a life.
• Following his return to civilian life, has tried to get into Buddhism to mellow out a little and find inner peace. Hasn't worked yet. Tries to meditate but always ends up overthinking it. Frequents the Buddhist temple at the Worship Corner but honestly has little to show for it. He's gonna keep trying, though.
• In canon he's some Sengoku samurai dude no one's ever heard of ha ha ha

Minako recently installed a mini shrine for one of the god characters in game, Yato, next to the mailbox, so Sakichi could definitely notice that and start up a convo with Minako that way?? Also her dog Koromaru is adorable and good, he picks up the mail for the house so he can totally be curious about the new mailman
