AU WORKSHOP - NOVEMBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World changes FAQ • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? AU NAME: Shion??? Aster?? I have no idea
AU AGE: 17
AU OCCUPATION: ~*~PROFESSIONAL~*~ amateur ghost hunter. By which I mean she's highschool senior who likes doing dumb shit. As they do.
BLURB:
-Xion is an only child! Her father is a geneticist, and whenever she asks about her mom, he tells her that she's a test tube baby.
-She absolutely believes this.
-She's spent a lot of time in different places, moving around a lot because of her dad's work for large contract companies.
-Huge interest in photography, and is fairly good at it! It helped keep the loneliness at bay whenever she had to move somewhere new. She likes to take pictures to "Make Memories" of new places.
-On the flipside of that, she has a distressingly huge interest in the paranormal. Ghosts? Goblins? Demons? You name it, she's interested in it. She's a huge nerd.
-This means she likes going to haunted places and doing "Investigations", trying to make ghosts talk to her and catch EVP's or Orbs in photos.
-She's also sort of a stickler for following the rules, so she won't break into any abandoned places to do investigations.
-Sort of. She's weak to peer pressure, and can easily be made to do certain things, though she'll still put up a bit of a fuss. She just desperately wants to please anyone who could be a potential friend.

As soon as weird shit starts happening shes going to be convinced she's some sort of supernatural creature. a vampire?? werewolf??? who knows-Afraid of any and all dolls. They give her the willies.

I was thinking of apping in Beast Boy and his parents are actually also geneticists, weirdly specifically enough! What would you think if Beast Boy's parents worked with Xion's dad and so they know each other that way?
Beast Boy would also be 100% up for ghost hunting
