AU WORKSHOP - NOVEMBER
Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.

Alice is also an early 20's apartment dweller so it might be fun to have them be neighbors! She probably pounded her fist on the wall for a week straight when Ibuki was practicing at all hours, until Ibuki met her dog who is way, way too big to live in an apartment and now there's a sort of understanding that nobody bothers anybody else and they might even be half friendly, or more than half if Ibuki is especially pushy about it?

THIS IS LATE AND I APOLOGIZE, but Ibuki's actually renting a small house; yet tiny, rentable houses also tend to be sprinkled among apartment complexes in cities (I know my neighbor pretty well IRL, for example) so it's still possible!
I can't promise Ibuki would complain about a far too big dog, though... the moment she saw Alice's dog, she probably want to smooch all up on its face and roll around in the grass with it.

So there's probably an understanding of you don't rat me out, I don't rat you out, but it's also interspersed with "hey Ibuki'll dogsit if you ever need it, y'know 8)".

Also, saying Ibuki is pushy about friendship is an understatement, actually... it's more like "have we talked once? Yes? Then congrats, you are Ibuki's friend!!"

Never too late omg! And ahh, I didn't realize, but I'd still be down for this! The mutual not ratting was kind of what I was getting at, she's free to love on Alice's dog all she wants, who wouldn't, Greta is the best dog ever obviously. I'd love cr with someone aggressively friendly that way, honestly, it'd be good for Alice and I think they might actually get along!

'S all good, just thought I'd clarify! Mutual secret keeping is something Ibuki is both really good and really bad at, it just depends on if she actually REMEMBERS she can rat Alice out for her dog... her memory is so terrible, she gets lost if she leaves her house without her written memos.
So it's safe to say that Alice doesn't actually have anything to worry about, on that front.

But if you want aggressively friendly, you've come to the right place!! Not even insulting Ibuki works, considering she befriends the biggest bully in her canon despite said bully cutting her pretty deep with a lot of her insults. It's nuts. She's a little nuts.
But hey, if Alice can put up with that and also being bothered at random times with little to no warning, they would absolutely get along!!

I mean Alice won't really give her a reason to rat her out so she may forget but that's also fine! Alice won't forget and that's more important because it means she'll be more tolerant of the practices and fireworks and whatever else.

She actually absolutely can, she's got a thick skin and is pretty tolerant, and Ibuki's toughness won't ping as nuts right off the bat so she'll respect that toughness and by the time she realizes it's her being a little nuts it'll be too late, ha.

So they're gonna be mutual secret keeping pals who both think the other is tough, then! I can also guarantee Ibuki'll probably think Alice is super cool, so Alice is definitely getting a good deal out of this if she needs the kinda friend who'll get her out and about and such things.

Slightly related: ran across this while looking at memes to spam a friend with, and it instantly made me think of all this.

That... that meme is amazing and is almost certainly accurate, but if that's the greeting Alice gets every time she can evenally be worn down. She absolutely needs a friend like that, she's not naturally the most social type, so please drag her to concerts and clubs and whatever else, Ibuki.
