AU WORKSHOP - NOVEMBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World changes FAQ • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. BLURB:

- born in the Philippines like in canon! Her mother died during childbirth though, so she's raised in a very academically-oriented family with a dad and an older brother and sister
- her father remarried, and since her older siblings already have a family and a stable job she's whisked away to live in Recolle, United States when she was 8 years old
- initially culture-shocked, but she's always been a quick learner. Has a rocky relationship with his father and stepmother in the process though, but it's not like she hates them
- she's rather tall and intimidating-looking for her age, but she's actually very intelligent; you just wouldn't know it at first glance
- very laidback and slacks off from schoolwork too often so a lot of people just see her as too simpleminded, really
- but!! she does reveal her true intelligence once she's around something that catches her interest
- it's just that she's watched her father put so much pressure on her older siblings so she just hides her smarts so that nobody would ever expect shit from her
- but that's the thing, her interests are kind of all over the place - she's leaning towards science but at the same time she doesn't want to pursue that shit bc her family already expects her to become a doctor but she... doesn't want to... not yet, at least
- and yes she still does experiments but with sweets - horrible-looking sweets that actually taste good! she's still working on the presentation, ok
- right now she's a senior at recolle high, enjoying her final year of high school while loudly ignoring everyone who's pressuring her about the future!!!! leave her olone

LOOKING FOR:

- A RELATIVE OR TWO unless you want to be her parent... which is just as great too since ive always wanted to try that kind of cr
- childhood friends who may have known her when she was 8 and awkward as all get out while trying to fit in an entirely new country??
- people to pick on her and for her to pick on! because she's kind of a creepy nerd but that doesn't mean she doesn't have some tricks up her sleeve
- friends who are willing to put up with her strangeness, ofc
- classmates where she can steal notes from... or tutor in secret because she does know her stuff a little too whell
- guinea pigs who'd want to try her little food experiments. they taste good, promise!
- everything and anything under the sun, really!

i don't know what year you're putting sucy in high school, but either way, chiyo can be a childhood friend, and she is as easily bullied as akko is tbh

and even if not childhood friend, chiyo is a friend who would put up with almost anything and would try out her food experiments up to a certain point

but yes childhood friends would be great! poor chiyo befriending this creepy girl when they were kids... sucy must have been a lot nicer back then so having them reunite on the app and having chiyo see how much sucy has changed would be wild

Holy Guimaras Mangoes! Jamie's adopted into a family of Chinese Filipinos, so Sucy shouldn't be afraid to hang out with him, he happens to learn to speak in Filipino from them minus the dreaded 'nosebleed'.

He could help her to survive in Recolle, maybe be her tutor (his family wants to make sure that they work hard to be productive citizens, so he could be like Gordon Ramsay in MasterChef US (the strict but firm teacher) when he's trying to help her out), and be her 'unwilling' food critic as well; he and his siblings can cook well thanks to their paternal side, the mom's cooking is a walking disaster waiting to happen.

He's also a friend of Amanda's older adopted brother Derek, so I assume that they might see each other periodically from time to time. Also an ex-wizard waiting for his powers to return!
