If I recall correctly he didn't say it directly to Matt but I saw a plurk that pointed it out and a number of us OOCly crowded around the tag wailing about feels. Unless I'm imagining things. XD

There are off-screen lunch 'not-dates I swear we're just getting together to keep in touch and chat about books' happening, because Togusa has managed to make himself feel guilty about both not talking to Gentiana, and about continuing to talk to Gentiana. If Fynn could have smacked him upside the head through text, the conversation that convinced him to call her was amazing.
