AU WORKSHOP - OCTOBER
Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• As per our game-wide poll, we will be holding an application round in October and in November! After that, apps will resume their bi-monthly schedule. The game calendar has now been updated with the dates for this.
• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.
LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like.

AU OCCUPATION: Physicist and former RU professor, having recently moved to the private sector after consistently being passed over for tenure
BLURB:

◇ Believes himself to be a Recolle native, born into an "old money" sort of situation
◇ Fairly unremarkable childhood, though he was a bright kid and entered college young
◇ Has a fascination with dissecting how the world works that occasionally borders on fixation, eventually arriving at his interest in particle physics
◇ Probably has a few published articles out there but has thus far not received the recognition he expects
◇ ...Probably because he has a couple weird and maybe verging-on-fringe ideas that nobody properly appreciates
◇ Still guest lectures from time to time on various math/physics topics
◇ Loves math so much you guys, like seriously he could talk about it forever and finds it genuinely aesthetically pleasing, what a nerd

LOOKING FOR: Gosh, anything! Royce is a little bit eccentric but is potentially willing to hang out with all kinds of people, especially if they happen to share some core values/ideals. Eventually he'll learn that he and his colleagues kinda goofed their plan to improve their city through a series of murders and inadvertently caused the end of the world. Whoops.

AHAHAH YES... well... he comes from a cohort of beautiful, stylish people and clearly knows his way around a suit, and what's with that gucci af lab coat, no wonder he uses a pocket protector, you can't go staining something that slick

his aesthetic seems very nostalgic/vintage/classic mixed with some more avant-garde modern touches (mostly because that's transistor's aesthetic lmao)
