Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• As per our game-wide poll, we will be holding an application round in October and in November! After that, apps will resume their bi-monthly schedule. The game calendar has now been updated with the dates for this.
• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

BLURB:
-Born into a rich family, went to medical school.
-Consequence-free life, became a doctor and opened his own practice as a Family Medicine practicioner.
-Actively participates in his local parish as a sub-in pastor.
-Loves seafood--has been seen participating in any all-you-can eat seafood buffet and has been told to leave on numerous occasions for violating the spirit of the buffet, itself.
-Generally an excitable and forthcoming person, always willing to lend advice, yet...
-Is excitable in the good and bad sense. He can squeeze and turn from paranoid to giddy to depressed on a dime.
-Loves comic books and video games, especially if they possess any medieval settings at all.
-He doesn't really believe God exists--he just thinks the community has a few good morals he likes to practice.
-Three drinks and he's out.
-Can hold a grudge if he's really peeved. Only seafood restaurant owners tend to see this, lately.
-Phone in hand almost all the time, mostly in imgur/equivalents.

LOOKING FOR:
-PATIENTS. Are you a regular at his practice? Do you want him to annoy you with health advice in the middle of a conversation?
-Children/Younger siblings. He hasn't had the chance to really get into any romantic involvements due to school, opening a practice and stampeding headlong into a life. He'd like surrogate children, though! The man is a nurturer.
-People to grate his nerves and flip the switch from kind, eccentric pastor/doctor to a loud-mouthed, flippant jerk.
-At least one friend who's a demon.

Hey, Dan. This is Wind, sad King failure at Futuro. Did not expect to see you here, but the moment I saw that Zaratras icon, I knew.

Not sure how I could throw Kamui here into Zachary's life. He's deeeeefinitely not a church person. He did, however, spend a year in juvenile detention, so maybe the church could have had a pastor or volunteer over at one point? It's also possible that they could have just met at a bar, and Kamui drank him under a table until Zachary learned he was underage and dragged him out? Kamui makes custom blades in this AU, so he could make medieval weaponry at some point as well.

Pfffff, the dudebro doctor. There's always one.

He absolutely could have ended up at Zach's clinic after a fight. Or two. Maybe that's how Zacchary learns he's underaged. Kamui fills out some form, and Zach is appalled that he's still a teenager!!1!

Anyone aggressively hellbent on anything earns a smidgen of Kamui's respect. He wouldn't be able to hate Zach no matter how much he wanted to.

GROWN MAN GEEKS UNITE? Foggy could bump into Zachary at the comic book store. Maybe they read the same series and start talking about it.

and possibly a super embarrassing moment if foggy goes in for a clinic visit and zachary has action figures ALL OVER HIS PERSONAL OFFICE

I think Zachary would be a huge Guardians of the Galaxy or a Dr. Strange fan, if that helps?? I'd go with the theme that he's huge into fantasy or 'kind of not!hero teams'!

Hey no shame! Foggy has his share of figures and a large collection of plastic dinosaurs.

Foggy's taste is all over the place. He likes sci-fi like Doctor Who and Star Wars, he likes Lord of the Rings high fantasy kind of stuff, superheroes, some anime, plus some straight up nerdy stuff like model boats and again DINOSAURS.

Foggy is going to be an English and Drama teacher at the local high school. So he's a literature nerd and musical theater geek too. Teaching the teen masses! Wish him luck. The long version of his backstory is over here.
