AU WORKSHOP - OCTOBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World changes FAQ • As per our game-wide poll, we will be holding an application round in October and in November! After that, apps will resume their bi-monthly schedule. The game calendar has now been updated with the dates for this. • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? would this make Noni a Sorensen-Matthews

Hm, good thing is that 9S is super friendly and doesn't ask for much. As long as you're not trying to box him in with rules and squash out questions, he'll attach to people really quick. Maybe... a little too much attaching. He's a bit of the type to cling tightly to people he sees as family/special.

Maybe a few months in as a new family might be good? Still getting fully used to, but not completely at awkward stage of figuring out everything?

I think the idea of him being in the family only a few months before he gets the app is an interesting idea. The app could be a way for Noni and Derek to grow closer as brothers since Derek doesn't live at home.

I kind of like the idea of the Matthews adopting a teenager. "So we are close to being empty nesters, lets adopt another kid!"

Derek is definitely protective of his younger sisters, but with never having a younger brother before I'm not sure at the moment whether Derek will be extremely protective of him or not. I'm looking forward to watching them interact.

Yes! and it would help me since Noni is still my first character and I'm still trying to get used to Recolle hahaha

There's so many strong females in Nier but not many males so it would just be interesting to see how this would work out. I would think, even if Derek doesn't live at home, considering the fact he uses science in his job actively, it would be extra points for Noni just with that.

Although I'm sure Noni will get in trouble being in someplace he shouldn't be or getting lost because something caught his attention and wandered off.
