Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• As per our game-wide poll, we will be holding an application round in October and in November! After that, apps will resume their bi-monthly schedule. The game calendar has now been updated with the dates for this.
• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

Not even if a Tsubasa Syaoran came in idk like a cousin or something? Because I would also approve of TRC cast growing for more confusion and hilarity.

But GOD, having a TRC Syaoran here as his cousin would be GREAT, because they'd look at him, and then look at Xiaolang, and just be like ?? is he your nice twin or older brother or something and he'd get so upset (and probably even more so when they find out that TRC!Syaoran is an AU version of him CRIES)

ALSO?? I remember you mentioning Sakura regaining her bear at some point, and Xiaolang's definitely regaining his, although the question stands: is he getting Sakura!Bear or Syaoran!Bear?? WILL THEY DO ANOTHER BEAR EXCHANGE?? The mental image of Xiaolang regaining a cute pink teddy bear with wings and being absolutely confused over it is too hilarious

....is it bad I already laugh at how tomato and jealous he might get with TRC Syaoran around Sakura though. I mean. TRC is older and doesn't have the tsun/temper so much even initially in meeting his Sakura, let alone him probably doting on her through extension of his own memories influencing him and just in general when she'd be around to see CCS Syaoran.

I had not even considered which bear. But I am all for them regaining the bears because they were damned adorable. Syaoran's ??? over the pink winged one probably would be all the more hilarious until they remember. Or him just immediately passing it to Sakura like '...I think this is yours?'

Actually, if she ever sees him with Sakura!Bear and comments that it's cute, he'd just push it along to her all T-TAKE IT, IT SUITS YOU BETTER ANYWAY and then regaining the memory of the bear tradition and being all ........... oh no I shot myself in the foot and now OUR POTENTIAL LOVE IS DOOMED, N O.........

Sakura would treasure whichever bear she got from him either way. I think a case could be made for them regaining each other's or their own bears they made, given they exchanged them in canon.

Xiaolang stop getting jealous over your AU-self-who-is-also-your-son-but-not-really, it's EMBARRASSING ~~but seriously CLAMP, wtf is even going on there~~

But awwww Sakura ;; That's true, though! Since there's no technical canonpoints to pull from, he COULD regain Sakura!bear since he has it at the end of the first series, or he could regain Syaoran!bear because he made it and he could properly give it to Sakura instead of just leaving it with her like he did in the past, haha. I do kind of like the first idea, though? The pink bear would probably be a bigger mystery to him because WHY WOULD PAST-ME EVER OWN THIS, but once the pieces fall into place, he'll probably be like oh. OOOOOOOOH NOOOOOO. and then struggle with what to do because he can't exactly tell Sakura about the bear tradition without getting hugely embarrassed (that is, unless she remembers it first, anyway)

ALSO ON THAT NOTE, I don't know when you'll have Sakura regain her memories of Syaoran, but Xiaolang's probably not going to remember his association with Sakura just yet? (he'll just remember stuff like-- Kero biting him and fighting against Sword!Rika) There will probably be some memories that pop up in regards to him struggling with a crush on someone (which makes him be like GOD, IN MY PAST LIFE TOO, THIS ACTUALLY SUCKS) and then he'll regain the ones about realizing he loves Sakura and his confession towards her and he'll just be like AAAAAAAA. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA OH MY GOD

Yeah, no canon points make it both interesting and tricky in some regards but I've been having fun with it so far, and you keep record of what they regain so. It's easy as long as you keep your regain list up to date!

Sakura remembers Maze appearing so he kinda showed up in that but he didn't talk. That's the only memory she has that relates to him. I figured esp once Syaoran shows up, they could then regain memories of each other that much quicker bouncing off each other in-game.

idk if Syaoran would be proud or Concerned but Sakura is asking about self defense so people are offering to teach her sword fighting, boxing and staff so far.

.....lbr probably Concerned because as athletic as she is she is also still a klutz. But yeah the sword thing will probably help her regain memories of that with Sword and Rika-chan.

not even for the klutziness (though that is a factor), but Sakura why do you need it in the first place WHO HAS BEEN HARASSING YOU AND WHO DOES HE NEED TO FIGHT

... not that he'd be able to do it well since idk if he'll really know any martial arts as of yet (I considered it at first, but given all the other things he does already, when would he even get the time for that), but HE WILL FIGHT FOR YOU, REGARDLESS.

But!! If she is taking up sword-fighting, once he regains his sword they can have practice matches together! Preferably with fake swords as stand-ins because Xiaolang, please don't accidentally stab the girl you like, PLEASE.....

Syaoran plz. But. This is just because she is hearing about monsters and wants to be okay if she encounters one? Though somehow it would not surprise me if Syaoran/her brother immediately jumped to the bullying/harrassing conclusion somehow.

Sparring together! Yeeeees! Since she won't automatically be amazing with a sword. Not until she regains Sword's card anyway because of its ability to magically make anyone a master with a sword because convenient magical girl abilities.

God, I just realized he is going to FLIP when the app-related changes take place, specifically all his favorite green things turning grey and learning there were MONSTERS everywhere but he never noticed

but HAHA OH MAN, I just... imagined a whole 'I'll Make a Man Out Of You' song montage with them training together and Syaoran trying to be tough and unyielding in their sword duel (but not TOO tough because he doesn't want to really hurt her), and Sakura one day regaining her Sword card and beating the pants off of him

(although it's okay, he's not going to be amazing with it at first either, so a lot of this will be them flailing dramatically with practice swords sobs)

Colours are weird, this is fine......but yeah Sakura was very ???!!! over the monsters too. Honestly. How do you NOT notice something like that anyway?!

But clearly this is the best montage and motivation. Bless Mulan. ♥ I could see he though, Syaoran going a little easier on her because no I don't want to hurt her and then. Yeah. Sword regain might make them a little less evenly matched.

I swear, there are at least three different Disney songs I could associate to this AU and it's GREAT. Though speaking of Disney, I can see Xiaolang either seeing the outfits Sakura's regained or remembering them in his own regains, and like... assuming she was some sort of princess in their past life (and since he has a sword, that might have made him her knight, and them mentioning it to Fai and Fai being like 8'''')

Tomoyo is to blame and she would have zero regrets in anyone thinking Sakura was a princess. Knowing her. Literally the case in Tsubasa, which will have her !!!! when Fai mentions that part.

....The children are playing with swords. Why can I just hear that with Kurogane or Fai if one of them answered the phone and someone asked about one or both of them. This not!family.....
