Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• As per our game-wide poll, we will be holding an application round in October and in November! After that, apps will resume their bi-monthly schedule. The game calendar has now been updated with the dates for this.
• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.
LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like.

He is such an adorable avocado. Thank you! You can mostly blame Bucky's player for talking me into it. And yes, please, by all means allow him to be tortured by her in his classroom. Ohhhhhhh, half sister you say? How intriguing. Actually, I'd be down with that. It would be pure teenage torture getting taught by your own brother. ~~HOLY SHIT ALL OF THE CRUSHES AND BONDING ON & OVER HIS STUPID HOT DORK FACE~~

Foggy's birth mom was like an evil witch so his dad divorced that monster and remarried a very nice lady and that was how Foggy ended up with step sisters and/or half sisters. Totally stole the evil mother idea from the comics. Allow him to interrupt your painting time to remind you about your homework. ~~Worse comes to worse distract him by talking about Murdock and he'll ramble for at least ten more minutes while you keep painting.~~

Even more family fun, the Derek/Draco player wants to be the adopted son of Foggy's step mom's sister. THAT'S RIGHT. COUSINS. Possible other cousins and additional sisters to be recruited. Natasha can really have that big loving family!

Natalie Nelson actually has a nice ring to it in my humble opinion.

What style does Natalie paint in?

I completely support stealing from the comics in that regard. He will end up covered in paint if he pushes her too hard. Also, PLEASE come up with some stupidly dorky nickname that he can accidentally call her in class and MORTIFY her with #teendrama. ~~she'll paint him a pretty picture that he can stare at all day long~~

Oh my gosh, cousin Draco is way too amazing. That would be all kinds of awesome! And seriously good for the hurt/comfort when she realises she doesn't have a family in her other life.

You know, it really does... This is going to be amazing.

Well, mostly I see her doing a lot of abstracts where she looks like she's creating a huge mess but you step back and it's actually pretty cool. If she does do portaits they do look like the person, but they're far from polished oil paintings. They'd still have a messy background. Kind of like what Felix does in Orphan Black if you've seen that.

By all means let her tease him and have stupid arguments with her big bro. They can have a sass-off.
A cute nickname related to art perhaps or maybe the more traditional affectionate "Nattie?" ~~The perfect bribe. Great distraction tool.~~

I was just talking about how Foggy might have gotten his nickname in this AU and someone suggested that it could have been a mispronunciation of "Franky" via a younger sibling when they were a toddler and it stuck. Would you like to give the honors to Natalie?

Natalie Nelson. Stan Lee would be so proud of the alliterative name usage!

Yessss. Currently at odds being teacher and student but always the sassy siblings. Could always be both for the nickname but start with Nattie because it’s horribly cute.

Definitely down for taking the honours. It was mentioned by the Bucky player too that perhaps Nat’s parents are his godparents if we wanted that to be a thing. Is that too much family for Foggy? Lol

There's no such thing as too much family for someone like Foggy! All the more reason for Foggy to keep a watchful eye on Bucky. He is not going to be happy with the people behind the app after he finds out James lost his arm thanks to that mess!

We'll see how many more family members get added by the time for apps. Looks like Draco has at least one teenage sister lined up now. Time to make a relationship chart or family tree!
